This deck fills up your graveyard with Hedron Crab, Mind Funeral, and Nemesis of Reason. It than bashes you with Lord of Extinction, preferably with Whispersilk Cloak equipped. Liliana's there for her tutoring, and her ultimate can be another win condition, given all the mill cards. Comments and help are both appreciated.

Glimpse the Unthinkable and Psychic Drain are defanantly a must for this deck Szadek, Lord of Secrets, and Vulturous Zombie might be worth looking into good deck idea thou. if i made it my deck i would probably switch it to just blue black and deck the shit out of them with psychic drain mind funeral and glimpse the unthinkable lol.
yup... the more i look at it green is dragging that deck straight into the dirt. i know you got a really good thing going with lord of extinction but i don't think green is worth keeping just because of him. you would be better off with two colors.
and kicking it down to 60 cards would do just that. prolly kick it down to 60 cards throw out green and put some counter spells in there. mana leak, counterspell, and 1 mana drain (if your a rich person not planning on playing legacy)
It is 60 cards, the extra 15 are in the sideboard. I see what you're saying about cutting the green and adding more counterspells and mill, but I am trying to keep this deck Standard legal. I think for Standard, the green is good for the deck. Lord of Extinction gives this it more consistent wins (with Mind Funeral, Nemesis of Reason, and Hedron Crab being the only viable mill cards right now), Maelstrom Pulse is, well, Maelstrom Pulse, and Putrid Leech gives it an early threat, which it otherwise lacks. I'm pretty sure the mana base is fine, what do you think?
what is standard legal anyways?
From all sets in the past two years.
I took out Hedron Crab for Duress and put Negate in the maindeck.
