http://www.mtgvault.com/yodebone/decks/ur-burn/ I kinda reworked my posted build to better match what I run in tourneys. Probably forgetting something, or quantities are off, but you can at least see how my sideboard works. Twisted Image is great for enemy Spellskites. ;-) Anyways, hope it helps!

Quite a few suggestions come to mind. It's hard to make the obvious suggestions because it would appear you're trying to run this with a budget. For a sideboard I would recommend spellskite, dispel, spell pierce, hurkyll's recall, combust and smash to smithereens off the top of my head. I would mainboard the lava spikes, skullcracks and burst lightnings. I would remove spell snare, magma jet and bedlam reveler.

If you can find room in your budget for Grim Lavamancer that would be huge. X2 of them in replacement of your revelers. Of course, Snappy is made for this build, but I get that $50 ea is a tough pill to swallow. I have a deck comparable to this without a budget in mind. My original posted U/R deck on the vault isn't what I run in person. I love U/R decks, so kudos on a decent build for price!

Atari, if you like the mill, but wanted low cmc flying you should check out Jace's Phantasm.

I second the hedron crab as an excellent option. I also suggest running x4 Jace's Phantasm, possibly instead of Enclave Cryptologist.

I don't think so. The idea is to crank out pain as fast as possible. The only 4 mana cmc card in the deck is Harmonize, in the event the game lasts long enough to get to 4 mana. If, on T4 u have 4 mana and u already have a big ass baloth, timbermare would tap him, which is unfortunate.

Sorry for taking so long! Thanks for the look. I run Isochron in a mono-white lockdown with Silence and it's GREAT. I can see it being useful with Lightning Bolt, but I don't know if I like it with this deck.

If I can get Hidetsugu's Second Rite to fire off the Iso isn't really necessary. I might try it and see how it plays though. Thanks for the suggestion.

Be that is it may, neither option is a fun decision to make as an opponent. Sure, the main gain from it is the card draw, but 25% of a starting life total is nothing to balk at.

Why does everyone hate on browbeat? Red has a tendency to run outta steam quick and holding a browbeat, or drawing into a reforge the soul has always been brilliant for me. I love the deck though. Check out my modern friendly mono-red burn, tell me what you think. :-)

I considered removing some 3 dmg ruckus makers for some 1 shots. Just to add that extra assurance you can get an opponent to 10 life and allow Hidetsugu to perform his shenanigans. Figured the tradeoff of stronger stuff was a better decision. Any advice from the vault community?

Thanks! I'm an old-school burn enthusiast. I felt this was about as solid as it gets.

I would swap Crusader for Hoplite and Hordeling Outburst for Ordeal. It changes the deck from the token dynamic to a more pure, base aggro. Pump a hoplite, make him unblockable, gg. Use ordeal and lightning strike to burn threats as they arise or to finish off opponent.

With satyr hoplite ordeal is VERY fast. Play ordeal, he gets a +1+1 for targeting, play another 1 drop enchantment, he gets another +1+1 for targeting, attack and he gets the 3rd, sac the ordeal, burn. If the Hoplite was already targeted earlier and u draw into the ordeal it's 2 counters and automatic burn.

Hey all, new to the Vault but been in the game for a looooong time. With regards to the deck, I would advise Satyr Hoplite and Ordeal of Purphoros. I understand the article is what's more important, but just my 2 cents there. Otherwise, pretty solid advice. I agree with "knowing what kind of player you are" but even further advice would be "know what you want your deck to do". So many new players lack focus when creating a deck and try to have it do too many things. It can be pretty easy to do, when you pop a pack and there's an AWESOME card that you try to squeeze in somewhere where it simply shouldn't be. Look forward to reading more!

What are you? A gay fish!? Glad you like the reference, had to go that route given Kanye's latest antics.
