That's a good way to surprise your opponent with a mill.

Alright. Really like this one. Good that you tighten the defense and focus on Wake Thrasher and Hydra for the kill.
If my opponent declared their attack and you untap their creatures, does it mean that the creature is no longer involved in the attack?
Nice advice, I'll definitely get my hands on that.
I remember someone selling a set of this for a dollar each. Now I need to give him a call.
Is Homeward Path legal came only from the Commander deck right? Is it legal?
Good call on Thrumming Bird, it can both interact with Aether Vial and Quest of Ula. Not so sure about Lighthouse Chronologist though.
HAHAAAAH!! God Thank you for that. I would really enjoy this one.
Someone needs to read "Living Wish" here.
ME WANT THIS! Budget version this too!!
I really love the Wind Zendikon, Eradicate combo. That's just too mean. Haakon, Nameless inversion is such a good creature wiper too.
F*CK, PLEASE STOP THAT!
Oh Sh*t, Okay you got me there. +1.
Sure! Feel free to do so.
Huh? Well, What?
Now I get what the title means. (>.<)
Sorry I haven't had a chance to look at this deck. This looks pretty solid. I also love mill decks and have tried quite a few flavors. Its really hard to make a competitive mill deck. I personally have had a lot of fun with the infinite mill combos like Leyline of the Void and Helm of obedience and Painters servant and grindstone. The biggest thing to worry about with Mill decks is usually creatures. Because of that I think that you could use a little bit more hard removal. Wind Zendikon isn't a bad Idea but I think i would rather have removal or bounce in its place. Maybe take out duress and 2 eradicates and put in doom blades and/or Go for the throat. I also think that Haunting Echoes is worth a look. Its a high casting cost, but its devastating. Either version of Jace are nice adds. Nevinyrral's Disk is a nice thought but since you are running black you may be better off with Damnation. May need some play testing to see which is better overall. Tormod's Crypt is a good card for the sideboard in-case you are playing someone that plays from their graveyard or has a way to shuffle their graveyard back into their deck like Emrakul. Good luck and if I think of anything else I'll let you know. Like this comment 0 likes 14 Jun 2011 by Mursh (542 posts) Reply | Report Hi there. I use Wind Zendikon to utilize the Landfall ability of hedron crab. If I enchant it to a fetch land, I could recover the fetch land and play it again maybe the same turn or the turn next to it. If I'm lucky I could enchant it to my opponent's land and cast eradicate to it. That way, I could exile all lands in his/her library and hand sharing the same name with it. But it would definitely more defensive if I add control spells like into the roil, etc. I just added it for fun factor. I haven't really made the deck yet. I'm still thinking if it is pretty stable against all types of deck. But I think it would have a hard time against burn, aggro, any deck that could sets-up fast, or any deck that is not combo-based. So I'm still having thoughts if this deck is really worth it of making. Most of those cards are really expensive. Jace are incredibly expensive too nowadays. By the way, what decks do you think would win against this mill deck? Thank you for the comment and I appreciated it! ^^ Like this comment 0 likes 15 Jun 2011 by Mashitta (240 posts) Report Oh wow I didn't even see the Wind Zendikon/Eradicate synergy, thought you were just using it for a blocker and for landfall. That is really cool and very evil, I love it. Mills biggest weakness is most likely fast creature decks. You must also worry about cards that resuffle the graveyard such as Emrakul or Elixir of Immortality. Also you must worry about Leyline of Sanctity. A lot of people run a few walls to help against getting run over but I personally am not a big fan of walls in mill decks. I ran fog bank for a long time and occasionally it worked great and other times it didn't do much for me. I think that a Tormod's crypt is a great sideboard as well as Damnation against heavy creature decks. You have I am just going to list a few cards for you to consider. Ensnaring Bridge is good at stopping creatures. Silent Arbiter is also great at stopping creature damage. Diabolic Vision card draw plus set up your next few draws If the double black casting cost doesn't scare you Royal Assassin can be pretty good. Vampire Nighthawk is much the same purpose as Royal Assassin Induce Paranoia can be pretty decent. Archive Trap is great if you know they run fetch lands or tutors. Consult the Necrosages can be useful. Horrifying Revelation is great turn 1 or 2. Duskmantle, House of Shadow Mill land. Circu, Dimir Lobotomist neat but kinda slow and legendary. Scrib Nibblers is kinda neat with so much landfall. I'll keep checking over here and suggesting things or make some builds of my own soon. I have a black and blue mill that I need to fix anyway so I may steal some ideals from you. Like this comment 0 likes 15 Jun 2011 by Mursh (542 posts) Reply | Report Thanks for the advice. I have learned a lot again ^^. But i'm still unsure about the deck. I just want to make a new deck that can go good against almost all types of deck. Just like the burn deck. Do you have any idea of what deck does good against almost any type of deck? I'm starting to get bored of burn decks and aggros. Btw, check out this deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=197761
So Indomitable Ancients are the Broccoli here? Poor little treefolk. Funny 'cause this is actually a pretty tight to beat.
I think you're kinda right. It made the deck a lot faster. I get your point. And kudos for you for adding Dauntless Escort.
But why Flayer Husk? Isn't it focused on one creature at a time?
