Deck discussion for MerfolkCtrl

I don't know what part of this deck is supposed to be "control". The best Merfolk control trick would be a combo between Silvergill Dowser, Merfolk Thaumaturgist and Merrow Commerce. Add cheap Merfolk and your set, keep Sygg for defense, and you're set!

the only control function is the surgespanners return ability - once you get the prophets/summon the school combo working you can have infinite turns but Id have added something to change an opponents land to an island and one of the creatures with islandwalk like the Merrow Harbinger

Surgespanner's in primarily to reduce the impact your opponent can have on the board. The primary win condition is either the infinite turns route via Summon The School and Wanderwine Prophets or Milling the opponent to death. In testing i've won more by Milling than actual damage so Its become more of a StallMill Merfolk deck.
