Great deck, has the same core as my UW/Control. I went with a proliferate splash to get my planeswalkers up fast, plus the -1/-1 from contagion clasps works SOOO well with venser and some more proliferating. My deck has already performed very well, so check it out and see if you get any ideas. Personal opinion, would be that Sea Gate Oracle, is totally overkill, and it's not even that great considering you've got 4 preordains, and you're running 4 Jace. I seriously recommend Augury Owl, let's you scry 3, has the same synergy with Venser's +2 ability, and it's a cheap chump block in the air, which is somewhat lacking in your deck. I'd also kill the Stoic Rebuttals, I don't see any artifacts in your deck, so I don't really understand why they're in there. Take the two out and get another Condemn (VERY good spell) and another Mana Leak. Anyways, great deck man, good luck!

Thanks a bunch for the comprehensive advice! I get a lot of questions about the Augury Owl, the way I see it, is it's a cheap chump block in the air and it has great synergy with Venser's +2 ability, letting me control my draw a bit. I had 4 wall of omens but I took one out to make some room for the walls of frost, that way they aren't too susceptible to flame slash's. I did win FNM but I know this deck could be better and I know the side board needs some work. The side board is COMPLETELY built for the local meta game (tons of burn) I'd love to throw one of the big 3 eldrazi in there to cancel out the mill factor. I'll look into getting some Volition Reigns in here for sure though, it sounds like a good idea.
It's a pretty good start, but there are a bunch of things I'd tell you to do differently. Take a look at my deck, I won FNM with it last week. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=102966 I'd totally encourage you to come up with your own solution but i'll tell you right now, I feel that the main problem with your deck is your lack of cheap 1-2-3 mana spells. You have a DECENT amount of 2 mana spells, but I feel that with the amount of high mana spells, your draws will leave you with not much to do in the opening few turns, which is where the true battle is really won with these kinds of decks. Once you get a planeswalker or two up, you honestly own the game. As a side note, I don't think elspeth has good synergy with other planeswalkers, I'd drop her and add a couple more of the other 3.
Creature wise I'd say the deck is almost perfect. I'd personally recommend adding some contagion clasps and another contagion engine. Some nasty control/aggro decks could have you at the brink and unable to attack with creatures, but as long as they've got a few poison counters on them already, you can still finish it off. Makes you more robust. Anyways, great idea man keep up the good work.
Either knock them out with gideon, or exile their library with jace. Before you say it won't happen, and without trying to brag at the same time. I did win my local fnm a couple days ago. So I know it comes up often enough. Just a matter of taking too long or not.
What do you mean. You think it's over kill to have creature removal with walls?
Proliferate lets you add counters to your planeswalkers as well....
Thanks for the comment! I thought about running green myself, birds of paradise + garruk was very tempting. In the end though I felt it'd spread me out too much unless I sacrificed another colour, probably black. I just thought sorin in particular does a lot more for me end game. Oblivion ring is a great suggestion, the only question I have is what do you think I should take out in place for it? I was kind of hoping to lock the enemy down with silences and mana leaks/spell pierces.
Nice idea, play-testing it's alright at best.
Very similar to mine, except I went with admonition angels rather than baneslayer. I focused on more flying creatures to deal damage, with a few more Soul Wardens and 4 Lone Missionarys with the use of Smite to make them powerful for destroying enemy creatures. I feel like your deck will gain more life than mine, and be harder to kill, but your deck also seems like it doesn't do as much damage or stir up enough trouble for the opponent.
Nice idea, I like the deviation from a traditional black weenie deck. /agree use terminate.
