Control Deck: Denial of everything is the primary goal of this deck. The two creatures either eliminate permanents or tie up mana to keep creatures in play. The Game enders are the two Planeswalkers.
Crucible of Worlds allows owner to play lands from grave while opponent just keep dumping lands into grave. This means you will never miss a land drop while your opponent is at the whim of deck draws for new lands. The two creatures make maintaining a large weenie army impossible as you slowly destroy all your opponents lands. Once Ajani comes into play opponent is facing a ticking timebomb until he loses all his lands. With the fast artifact mana provided its possible to get Ajani out on turn 4 and begin his cycle of distruption. The end game card is the other planeswalker Elspeth. Defense comes in the form of Chalice of the Void. A turn 2 Chalice means all 1 mana spells are automatically countered. Goodbye weenie decks. Between Ghostly Prison and Magus of the Tabernacle your opponent will have to expend great amounts of mana to both support his army and attack you. Other defense are Oblivion Ring and Lightning Helix for timely creature or permanent removal until you have control of the game board.

I already have 8 spell costing me 4 mana. My mana curve would be off a bit too much with 9 at that mana cost.
