Cateren overlord? Primeval shambler?

Eh, the only thing really searchable by overlord is enforcer and slaver. And as for primeval shambler, idk, I just really would feel like pumping out more creatures to swarm the opponent than pump him up. I just play this deck for fun, because I already have the cards, and when me and my friends play budget, I can break it out.

What about magus of the abyss, if you have him? You'll never run out of mercs to sac. Also, just about any other spot removal would be better than nameless inversion- why not go with a good old murder?

Magus of the abyss is cool and all, but takes away from the tribal theme. As for why I chose Nameless Inversion, its a shapeshifter, so It counts as a merc and I can play it directly from my deck with my merc effects.

I didn't see the synergy there at first. Nice job! My only other comment is this- coat of arms often helps your opponent as much or more than it helps you. Why not door to destinies instead?

I see where you're going with the coat of arms. I'll try out door of destinies, but I usually don't drop coat of arms until my final swing anyways, I use it more like a colorless trampleless overrun.
