Deck is based on cards I own. Basically, destroy your opponent's creatures until you get one of the finishers out- avatar of woe/phage the untouchable/corrupt. Looking to add demonic/diabolic tutors, cabal coffers, liliana vess in the future. Diabolic edict to get rid of creatures with shroud. Substitute with Assassinate when necessary. Substitute Nekrataal with Big Game Hunter when playing against black/artifact decks. Comments and suggestions appreciated. Update: June 24, 2009 Removed Assassinate from sideboard and added Murderous Redcap. Substitute Redcap with Nekrataal against weenie non-black/artifact decks. Removed Icy Manipulator and Magewright's Stone from main deck. Most of the time playing, I rarely needed to put them down, and it reduced Nightshade Assassin's ability. Added 1 more Rathi Trapper, Dash Hopes, Wrench Mind, and Diabolic Edict to the main deck. Replaced Avatar of Woe with Liliana Vess. Replaced Mind Wrench with Duress.

Looks good but how it works with only 18 swamps? You can also use Unearth to get your Big Game Hunter back in play from your graveyeard.

since its a mono deck and there are 4 dark rits, 18 is actually just the right amount of swamps. i've played the deck before with 20, and bringing it down to 18 hasn't showed any noticeable slow downs
