Here's the deal MTG leaves so many possibilities of game types, and there is only a few ''official'' ways of playing this game. Why not trying to create new ways of playing with restrictions and all. This deck game i created is based on a couple of others with a couple of twists. I've been testing it out for months now and it plays so damn well i must share it: - The library must consist of 6 colors - It is obligated to have six lands of each colors (total of 30 basic lands) - You cannot switch basic lands for special lands. - the deck size must be between 60 and 70 cards total. no more no less. - you cannot have more than 8 cards of each colors (total of 40 cards) - you can replace up to 2 cards of each colors for artifacts/equipements/special lands - multicolored cards count as one color, you chose which one based on its mana cost (lets say you got a red/green card, you chose to use it as a red OR green. not both) - Eldrazi and silver cards are considered in the replaced cards. - You can use any cards you have in your collection - You can't have more than 2 copies of the same card RULES CHANGES - you cannot have more than your initial life. - ability ''prevent damage'' can be done as an instant (ex: master healer's ability) why? because its nice that way. Tell me please if a card could be exploited and break the game that way, then ill make a change. - 1st mulligan makes you draw 7 cards, then the following makes you draw 1 less card each time. (like in multiplayer games) - The game is meant to be fun. Please keep your cheap-ass combos for your other decks. (abusive mill as an example) I think it sums it up. This deck game is perfect for newcomers with few cards in their collection. It's good against abusive combos like those myr decks. it makes the game more challenging. It's also a nice way to use those cards you dont use often.
