Deck Description

Haste creatures and direct damage making a mess of things. Charmbreaker Devils are really fun, considering they can become a 1 drop.

How to Play

Vexing Devils and Shred-Freaks early, with usually a bump in the night to push them really quickly. If things are looking really favorable drop a hellrider if you can and take the game. If it's looking like a longer game; get Rakdos and the Charmbreakers out. Ragemutts are really good at delaying the game if things aren't looking so good.

Deck discussion for Gol Ha Dov Rakdos! (Standard)

Does 21 land work for you? It seems you have a higher mana curve, with only your spells at the low end and game winners at 4 and up. I realize Rakdos can make your creatures cheap, but you want to consistently hit a land for the first 5 turns of the game with this deck. I would drop 1 bump in the night and 1 charmbreaker devil for 2 more lands, and try and squeeze in 1 more even. 24 lands with 2 chromatic lanterns should be enough to keep your land draws consistent. Rakdos' Return is an excellent card as well, I would try and fit a couple into the deck.

While I agree about the land issue, I disagree on what should be removed. Chromatic Lantern is totally unnecessary in a two color deck, and I think it would run smoother if you removed the lanterns and added 2 more lands.

I also agree on Rakdos's Return...I would swap 2 Vexing Devil for 2.

Well at the moment I'm running 22 lands and 2 chromatic lanters, plus i'm also missing 3 Dragonskull Summit and 1 Blood Crypt and it has been working well. I was thinking once I have the other dual lands I'll drop the lanterns add one more land and find some room for Rakdos' Return. I'd prefer not to drop any vexing devils though.
