This deck relies on some of your scarecrows getting boosted from the five colored creatures such as Scuttlemutt or even Reaper King. It also requires you to take control of -1/-1 counters, Lockjaw Snapper can be a threat to you as well as your opponent if you have used Black Sun's Zenith or something like Chain Breaker.
If you open with a Glimmer Void, remember not to play it until you have an artifact or use to play an artifact. This is why its good to start with Seat of the Synod or Tree of Tales. Always use Scuttlemutt's ability each turn if you plan on combat. If your opponent is running a deck of flyers adding Scarecrow or One-Eyed Scarecrow is your best defense. Use Tezzeret's -X to get the exact thing for the situation. If you get a chromatic lantern in your opening hand, it really doesn't matter what lands you get aslong as you know you can get three by the third turn. Never spend your -1/-1 counters in one place, with Grim Poppet spread out the counters for your Lockjaw Snapper's full potential when he dies. However, be careful with the snapper because you can hurt your own creatures, especially if you have used Black Sun's Zenith. If your Scarecrows do die, they're not gone forever, that's what Scarecrone and Bringer of the White Dawn is for!
