Will need a good sideboard for something like this as I think after game one they will be on to the combo

I added the become immense / battle rage combo to give the deck more pop. Has anyone used fertile thicket or looming spires? don't like that they ETB tapped could slow things down

Thanks for the comment, I do have 4 counters with Judge's Familiar and 4 more with declaration of naught, both of which add devotion. The problem I am finding with hard counters is they add no devotion and take up room in the deck that is needed to pop off. Not sure what to remove to get in more counters without hurting the devotion mechanic of the deck.

This looks like a fun deck to play never seen Guile before! Good times! Kinda heavy on the counter spells though at some point you will sitting on a handfull of them with nothing to do with them. Some card draw would be nice try gitaxian probe. Maybe some military intelligence would be good but you dont have any one drops.

I think you are correct Melek seems like a bad ass commander. I would want to switch up the creatures a bit add Wee men and Niv-mizzet. Past in flames looks tight too, plus reiterate and twincast for some doubling fun. Could you still use Mizzix as a creature? Is 39 lands alot or is that standard for EDH? If you did stick with Mizz you could add some proliferate to get the counters up, inexorable tide and tezzerets gambit. My first time trying the format sry for all the questions.

Switched around per your suggestions, this is my first EDH deck im putting together.

What do you think about the new 2015 commander decks? My friend going to buy them all I like the Izzet one I could build from that shell, would save me a ton of cash Ill post the list on here maybe suggest where it can improve.

How is your mana running with a jund shell? I am currently running a Gruul Dragon list that is ramping fast and has some good burn with it. I do like the black kill cards, and kolaghans command looks great too but dont think it is better the atarka's command.

I think there will be alot of eldrazi decks going around this standard. Im playing a Gruul dragon deck that goes off quickly and has tons of burn. I dont know if you will be able to withstand a quick aggro deck or a deck with alot of burn. Aligned Hedron Network will be my ace in the hole after someone wipes their whole board of mana scions/spawns only to have the fatty they cast get exiled. That being said you will need a why to destroy artifacts, that card alone shuts down all of your big boys. Hope that helps

SIDEBOARD UP I think this gives me some good options after the first match. I like Aligned Hedron to take care of any pesky colorless fattys that want to pop out, imagine them wiping their board to get a ulamog out only for me to exile it the next turn, good times!

Played a white / black warrior deck and went 2-1 he had alot of lifelink that I couldnt overcome game one but was able to blast him both turns with savage ventmaw into a crater claws for the kill!

Cards came in today and the deck plays pretty fast. Didn't have any issues getting my dragons out, tons of burn to keep in my hand against any threats, and savage ventmaw is great to cast another one behind it after attacking, I was not playing a standard deck but a good modern one. Taking this to next fnm I'll post results.

I'm working on a gruul Dragons with more focus on big dragons ramp and burn. There is a blue creature that makes every new target after the first cost one less think battlefield thurma something or other I can look him if you are not already commented to this build
