no Chandra Ablaze? Cast every red instant and sorcery from your graveyard for free? sure. not to mention, she can refill your hand, and turn any red card into a super burn. (good way to deal with those thunderous wraths you didnt cast)

ah, splicers, had some fun with those back in the day.

something fun i liked was precursor golem, then giant growth turns into overrun. and you can be easily protected by an asctecism.

i am glad to see you know the value of wing splicer, it won me many a duel versus my friends w/g splicer deck.

I like the idea of trying to protect them with counterspells and such, but any phantasmal will be sacreficed the *second* it becomes targeted, you need some sort of blanket hexproof, like a blue asceticism.

I played a deck like this in Standard last night. I got wrecked, the possibilities with this deck are insane.
I would say nothing need to be changed in the deck, save for replacing 2-3 mountains with Steam Vents? that way you are less likely to be stuck without blue mana.

Never underestimate a Mourning Thrull, that's pretty much a guaranteed second turn flyer with lifelink.

I play B/W exalted deck in standard, my one hope for Gatecrash is a reprint of my favourite thrull.

This seems like a very nice deck, more well-rounded than mine.
I'm not sure if you play casual or competitive, but I would suggest taking out Nefarox and putting in a few Silverblade Paladins. Double Strike and Exaulted go nicely together.

Some cards worth springing for: Isolated Chapel, Silverblade Paladin, and Disciple of Bolas

I don't have much removal in my deck, but that's mostly because I don't like to get distracted by what my opponent does.
(stupid philosophy of mine, I want my deck to win for doing what it does better than yours, instead of stopping you)

The Skeletal Grimace is a nice touch, much better regenerate cost than Duty-Bound Dead.

Last thing I'll say, I'm sure both of us can look forward to nice things in Gatecrash!

if i were you, i would make this a pure aggro deck, but the trouble is finding a merfolk lord. there are so few of those...

i agree, too much mana production. all you need is elvish guidance, one, and you have more than enough mana for all your spells at once. i was able to kick my warcaller 32 times, while i had a doubling season on the field, maybe you should try trample elves.

not to say this isnt a good deck, if you just add higher mana costing creatures or spells, you can make this deck lethal. elf tokens are a good idea, rhys the redeemed puts doubles of ALL your tokens onto the battlefield.

i like how you give yourself mild protection from flying, my elves cant deal with flyers, i need to look into that

get rid of the giant growths and put in overruns, mabye take out llanowar elves and replace them with coat of arms
