Hedron Crab for the early mill.

Wouldnt Garruk Relentless be a better overall? It does look fun though.
Like the idea of the deck. Have you been able to play test, is it stable?
Incinerate or shock over searing spear imho....shouldnt you be working on a standard deck for next weeks FNM?
Agree with the Warren Instigator, but the Goblin Piledriver is not modern legal.
Added, but haven't tested yet. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hate is an understatement. Play this enough and you will see someone rage quit Magic forever.
Think I had extras. Oh well.
Rite of flame in a standard deck.........?!?!?!? If you can turn back time please teach me how because I would like to do that too.
Combo is built around using the storm abilities of grapshot and brain freeze. Not sure what kind of win condition you would put in there, but if you find one that uses this combo too why dont you let me know.
/sigh We got the deck nazi and the english language nazi on the same board. Hey deck nazi its casual play. English language nazi LRN2NOTRUNONSENTENCEANDLOLSPEAKTARD. Hey Syner99 dont type posts while eating a bag of homeless dicks you cant do both at the same time, but I do agree with your post though. /rant off
That is a good idea. After turn 4 or 5 the deck usually stalls. Been thinking of something to add to make the end game go a lot smoother and you may have just solved that. Thanks for the suggestion.
Yes I have played the deck. Only thing I really need to get is the last entomb and the 2 phyrexian obliterator. Until then I have a couple of viscera seers and a horrifying revelation till i can acquire them. As far as cost I really haven't taken that in to account. I either traded with the group I play with, had most of the cards or bought them quite some time ago.
The combo usually happens around 3 or 4. And it doesn't take a god hand to pull it off. I usually draw the cards out the first few turns. I was thinking about that for the sign in bloods and skulltaps but was on the fence about it. You just confirmed what I was thinking. Originally I did have dark rituals and with them the potential for a first or second turn extract was possible, but you would need a very specific starting hand.
Glad I could contribute. If I can think of anything else I will let you know or if you want to kick around an idea just send me a message.
Training grounds has the same effect as heartstone, but only cost 1 blue and only affects your creatures.
If you have or can easily acquire cards like thran quarry and reflecting pool that with help out a lot. Play a sliver deck myself and use 4x of the following: city of brass, thran quarry, reflecting pool, gemstone mine, and ancient ziggurat. Mana is never a problem and the risk with the gemstone mine and thran quarry are offset by the gemhide and crystalline slivers. Did you want to bring the deck down to 60 cards? At first glance I would remove the shifting slivers because with toxin and talon slivers you would want opponents to block and with winged you would get past most defenses.
Getting to actually see the deck play and having time to think about it, I only remember you using the sneak attack once. Replace the artifacts, enchantments and fling. You could add things like lightning bolts, shock, gut shot, or gitaxian probe to fuel the dragonstorm. And with spells like seething song and rite of flame if you don't have the dragonstorm you can just play the dragons from your hand with no problem.
Thran quarry would also work too.
The major points were already stated above. Since you have a swarm this big, and winged slivers in there shifting slivers are expensive and not needed. With you having crystalline slivers you should take out the magma slivers too. If you were to put in city of brass and reflecting pools you should be able to take out the coalition relic and expedition maps and then put in something like lead the stampede to fill your hand with slivers. If you want I have a sliver deck you can check out.
