Using the Rod, Crown, and Throne of Empires to dominate your enemies. Control added to ensure you get your combo out, and they do not.
Watch and wait for the three cards to come up, building your mana pool and countering their spells as you see fit. Ensure you manage your mana, especially around turn 3 and 4 when you might be casting the Throne..Should you cast the throne?..or should you save your mana to counter something big they might be throwing out?...only by knowing their deck can you know the answer for sure. There is no sideboard, because you don't need it. This deck does two things, counter and cast artifacts..it doesn't matter what their decks do.

Maybe more removal, since if you opponent gets creatures in play and you do not have Vapor Snags, you are screwed.
It's happened a few times. Most of the time I can deal with it with the crown..sometimes not.
Maybe Voyage's End?Or Boomerang?
... Force of Will? You know, for when you're not on the play and your opponent combos on turn 1 or 2. Daze is also not terrible.I'm not sure why you threw the Legacy label on here. I mean, sure, it's legal in Legacy, but it's certainly not viable for competitive play.
Force of Will is definitely sexy. Next time post without so much snark? You know..cause manners?
Definitely gonna want more card draw so you don't run out of fuel countering your opponents.
