Main Deck (61 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Redux of the deck I recently made. After playtesting it, there were some issues that I hope this will resolve.

Comments/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Deck discussion for The Guild that Doesn't Exist v1.5

Question, are you on any sort of budget / restriction? I've got a few ideas but think they may be useless if you can't afford to obtain certain cards.

Budget-ish, yeah. I know it isn't strictly mill or anything, but House Dimir really never was solely based around that concept. It was just a part of them lol

True, but you also don't want to do too many different things. Hmmm... Some upgraded versions of the cards you're already using couldn't hurt (eg Nephalia Drownyard to replace Duskmantle, House of Shadow).

Something I've always wanted to pull off was a kicked Sadistic Sacrament (removing lands) followed by Mind Funeral >:)

There's also an equipment you may or may not like for this deck:
Mask of Riddles
Being black and blue, it'll get two triggers off of Circu, Dimir Lobotomist and it provides combat evasion (in the form of 'fear') for creatures like Dimir Cutpurse, whatever Dimir Doppelganger copies, etc.

Personally I think Mindleech Mass costs too much mana. Unless you have a way of getting it into your grave to copy with Dimir Doppelganger, I'd personally remove it.

YESSS, that's exactly why Sad. Sac. is in here lmao. I'm liking the idea of mask of riddles too, my only concern is that I'm playing against Izzet and Golgari decks mainly, so my creatures get nuked if I'm not careful.

Also true on the Mindleech mass. I only added him because I own one lol. I might throw in another sad.sac. or Mask of Riddles to try it out. Thanks for the input!

Updated*. As for Duskmantle, I think I'll keep it in solely for the flavor. It'll be immediately replaced by the new, better one coming out in Gatecrash.

More Sadistic Sacrament style cards, hand hate (Thoughtseize, etc) and counterspells can help protect the creatures. But like I said, you don't want to have too many different things. Ever thought of using Reminisce and Elixir of Immortality style cards to get back your spells and dead creatures back?

I used to be a major fan of EoM, it was in just about every deck I made lol. All I play these days is multiplayer, so i find boomerangs to be more beneficial. I was thinking of Into the Roil or Peel from Reality for a bit of creature protection and another sacrament (since I can tutor it if need be using transmute)

Love the theme deck, you should update it with some of the newer dimir cards in Return to Ravnica
