Deck Description

using Bloodbraid Elf to cast multi creature spells in a turn keeps the Vengevines in play.

Garruk Wildspeaker can be used to untap man lands or just to help get more mana. the Overrun effect isn't bad either.

Deck discussion for Blood Rush

Seems like a pretty good deck. Only thing I have to say is that the title is very misleading. Not that title, in any way, determines anything about a deck, but the only cascade cards are the 4 Bloodbraid Elf. Otherwise, I like the deck =]

hope the title is better now.

If its supposed to be Cascade how about Enlisted Wurm?

well, the title was missleading. so cascade was not the main element of the deck. cheap Creatures that could help Vengevine stay in play is the point. thank you though.

You need draw power if you want more spells in 1 turn without cascade. I don't see any, though... Glimpse of Nature?

I'm not sure I like Path of Exile in this deck. It's probably minor, but it interferes with BloodBraid pulling out a creature so that you can pull out 3 monsters instead of just 1, even though it does net you removal.

Awakening zone would give you more mana and any turn it's out would allow you to bring back VengeVine with any one creature, making it worth the loss in tempo. Realms uncharted seems like a good idea in this deck with the reliquaries etc.

awakening zone puts a token into play, not casts a creature. Vengevine only come out of the graveyard when i cast two ore more creature spells in a turn. as for Realms Uncharted, a 3 mana slot taken up to put two lands in my hand and two in my graveyard when Knight of the Reliquary is not the main card is not worth it to me. helpfull in a way, yes. thank you for your thoughts.

i have updated the idea of this deck; Rush 2.0 ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=68000 )

i have taken out Path to Exile in the new deck.

I think you should find a way to run 4 Lightning Bolts. If you run Red in the Current T2 Standard then your running Lightning Bolts. Just like if your running white your running Path To Exile, and if your running green your running Harrow, wink wink.

path is there because its a great card. but i am trying to keep only creature spells in the deck on the chance that i cast Bloodbraid. if i hit a creature and Vengevine is in the graveyard then it comes back out for free. if i hit a bolt or harrow then it stays in the yard. i'll take the risk with the 4 Paths.

Since your running Lotus Cobra and Vengevine, your should run Oracle of Mul Daya.

He lets you play two lands a turn and he can help with mana getting out a thousand land a turn. Lay one land, Lotus Cobra activates, lay another land with Oracle of Mul Daya, Lotus Cobra activates, then Harrow, Lotus Cobra Avtivates Again. It can basically allow you to play like five creatures a turn.

thank you for your idea. i will have to think about how the Oracle would work.

This deck looks great. I would only put Birds of Paradise in the main deck and put Wild Nacatl in the sideboard. Thanks for sharing I got alot of good ideas from this.

i played against an insane version of this deck the other day at a tournament, he used wooly thoctar, ajani vengeant, and stoneforge mystic instead of your nacatyl pridemage and garruk, oh and instead of scute mob he used birds of paradise
(as for the mystic, he ran basilisk collar too, it really was the tunring point in our game wen he got it on a thoctar with me fresh outa removal =/ )
