Eldrazi Monument is simply an insurance policy. You know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men... especially when it involves having your day ruined by some jerk and his Day of Judgment. ;-)

The only change I would make is that (aside from reducing the sideboard to the sanctioned 15 cards) I would add one (or maybe even 2) All Is Dust to the sideboard. While you would be nuking your own board, the combination of All Is Dust and It That Betrays would instantly give you control of all your opponents non-land colorless permanents. Heck, you'd get most if not all of them back anyway if you make half the sideboard Artisan of Kozilek. Then if you had Halimar Excavator, it would get sacced by All Is Dust and ressed by Artisan of Kozilek along with all your other allies, you'd basically kill your opponent by milling him before you had the chance to whack him. This deck looks like an absolute hoot to try out. The fact that you came up with a viable use for Crab Umbra is a miracle unto itself. That combined with my undying love of Allies means I'll probably be trying this deck out, with my own modifications, of course. Well done. =)
Congregation At Dawn isn't legal in T2.
Also, just a guess, but I'm assuming you're metagaming against U/W Control?
Sac lands such as Marsh Flats and Verdant Catacombs also help a lot.
Gotta say, you're running a lot of land in this deck. 26 is way overkill for mono-green, especially with no mana acceleration. I'd trade out 6 of those mana for mana accel cards such as Cultivate and/or Rampant Growth. That way you get more mana out faster and you thin your deck in the process. This looks way too easy to get mana flooded and creature screwed.
Thanks! =)
For a deck like this, Overwhelming Stampede is almost guaranteed to be better than Overrun, unless my opponent manages to destroy all my large creatures before I cast it, which would be difficult, as I have a fair number of large creatures. As long as I have one creature who is larger than 3/3 out on the field, Overwhelming Stampede is more powerful, and for the same mana cost. Besides, Garruk provides an Overrun option if I can't get Overwhelming Stampede going.
Thanks for the kind words. =) I think the biggest Achilles Heel of this deck, as it tends to be in decks I design, which are generally creature-centric, is an early game Day of Judgment. I've always enjoyed designing synergistic creature decks more, which are fantastic against aggro and decent against control, but are dead as a doornail against red and/or black kill decks. This should do reasonably well against black, and I think it puts a major kink in red kill with Leyline of Sanctity and Mark of Asylum. And even if they nuke those, I can bring them right back with Sun Titan. Alas, that darn early game Day of Judgment will always ruin my corn flakes, but this deck doesn't suffer from that as badly as some of the other decks I've designed.
I think it's a pretty cool deck, but I do have a couple suggestions. First of all, I would whittle the land down by maybe 2 in total. And instead of Sejiri Steppe and/or Kabira Crossroads, I'd go for Emeria, The Sky Ruin. Second, this is more personal preference, and while it's only good for another 3 months, I would add Cradle of Vitality. You've got a lot of lifegain stuff, and Cradle of Vitality would allow you to use the life you've just gained and to convert it into extra powerand toughness for your creatures. For example, and this is of course purely hypothetical, but let's say you were wanting to get up to 30 life so your Serra Ascendant would grow wings and get big. If you continued to whittle at your opponent with a single power attacker, your life would go 20 > 21 > 22 > 23 >... etcetera, until 30. But if you had Cradle of Vitality down, you could make him bigger while you gained life, which would then gain you life faster, which would then make him even bigger, which would then gain you life even FASTER! He would basically double in size every turn. Your life total would go 20 > 21 > 23 > 27 > 35. Then by the time he gained his flying and extra 5/5, he would be 16/16 already, meaning he'd be a 21/21 flyer. Can you say OP?
Hey dude, thanks for the feedback! Your deck looks pretty cool, but I'm not really an expert no Extended, as I only started playing in January. As far as the number of cards goes, 61 always just feels more natural for me, when I try to whittle things down to 60, I always feel like I'm giving something up to keep the card count low. 61 feels like I'm not compromising on power, but I'm also not diluting the deck enough to make a tangible difference. One other possible combo I like about this deck is that, with Sun Titan, I could also potentially thin the deck by grabbing my Sac Land out of the graveyard. I can also grab almost all of my enchantments if they've been nuked.
Yeah, to a point, but if I have enough mana out, I can start getting guys back from the graveyard with Marshal's Anthem. I also have Unified Will and Cancel in the sideboard.
