haven't updated decklist but I added Generator Servants and some Dissolves. Moved End Hostilities to sideboard. Focusing on more combo because 9/10 times if I just attack once with Narset I can combo off. Took out stuff like Deflecting Palm because it doesn't combo well.

I thought about generator servant but it's really prone to removal and then I'm just down a card, plus it's just a dead card in my hand or exiled by Narset if I already have her out. I agree with the End Hostilities and Dig but I haven't decided and cards to remove yet. and for Searing Blood and the RR I haven't had a problem because the deck and manabase is so heavy red I can usually get RR with no problem at all.
oh shit it doesn't give haste. my bad. card is worse than I thought.
Rally the Ancestors could be a pretty strong game ender instead of Return to the Ranks.
Thank you for the input!1) I have the 4 flooded strands already but wasn't sure how I felt about using all of them because at first I wasn't running many Islands or Plains. Will probably adjust land base as I fix the deck, because it's nowhere near done2) I hadn't actually thought of that and End Hostilities is probably a way better card for what I'm going for.3) Some counterspells work, just not the one I have, oddly enough. Will most likely change4) Valorous Stance is an option but I want minimal creatures.5) I think Dig would be better than Treasure Cruise because in all honesty I don't really want to delve for Trespass. I'm not even a huge fan of the card but my challenge was to make a deck that it worked in. Definitely gonna need something to fill the hand though. Playtested a few times and if I didn't have Narset out by turn 6-8 I usually lost because I was hellbent.6) Land will be adjusted as the deck changes. Most of the time if I don't draw Narset, I lose. I have gotten a couple wins against more midrange decks by just burning them to the face.. Howl of the Horde -> Searing Blood had a lot to do with that, but without Raid Howl of the Horde gets pretty lackluster if it doesn't win the game. Edit: kept the cards I removed in the sideboard so I could show what has been changed so far
I'm trying to keep mine standard though. Not too much I can take out for more ramp and most of my cards have a lower casting cost anyway. And I like the Resonator better because I can use it on EB effects as well as attacking. Also, I'm not restricted with equipping it so it also works on Ordeal of Nylea. Thanks for the input, though.
yeah this was a quick budget build that i threw together out of cards i already owned. It was for a quick friday night magic and i put my decklist on here so i wouldn't forget it. probably should have set it to private lol. If I wanted to build this deck more seriously I would definitely consider your suggestions though. Thanks.
they errata'd that with the release of m14. a sideboard can have any number of cards UP TO 15 now.scrolled down. someone beat me to it. oops.
lingering souls flashback is black also
Alms Beast is going to make it a little harder to get opponent's under 10 life for your Blood Baron.
It appears I'm going to have to spell it out for you two, so here goes:1. Pair Aurelia, the Warleader with Deadeye Navigator.2. Tap any mana dorks that are out.3. Swing with everything else.4. Every creature untaps due to Aurelia's ability.5. Use two mana to blink Aurelia with Deadeye Navigator.6. Repeat steps 2-5 until opponent takes lethal or scoops. If you have anything further you would like to say in criticizing my deck(s), please think about it first and make sure you have a basic understanding of card rules.I hope I was able to help clear anything up. Thank you for your "input"
Try Counterlash. Can use it to counter a sorcery and cast Enter the Infinite for 6 mana
If you're doing defender mill you should use the Axebane Guardian + Galvanic Alchemist mana combo. Use that with a Mind Grind and it's instant win.
Or a Rhystic Study.
Llanowar Elves. It's my rule that any mtg player has to own at least 4 of them.
If "Nova Chaser is the key" you should think about adding 2 more.
Alt win condition. Use flash on Leveler with Endless Whispers out. Opponent gets the Leveler at end of turn, which exiles their library. Then they are unable to draw and lose the game right then.
Brass Squire?
I don't really have any suggestions for this deck. I just wanted to say that it's totally kickass and I love how you're using the blood artist and blood seeker. Never thought about anything like that. Awesome.
Very much agreed. I was actually very surprised not to see any planeswalkers in this deck. Also, the Core Prowler does have infect so that aspect is still there.
