Turn two wins are possible and turn three wins are likely barring removal and hefty blockers. This is a very all-or-nothing deck and it owes its inspiration to the two mono green decks listed here: http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/tier-1-modern/557165-infect Recommendations are welcome!(Edit 4-23-16) Yay! Got my dismembers and Tormod's Crypts in the mail! Got thrashed by Melira in my only loss last FNM last night and now I have Dismember to deal with her, and some Crypts to hate on graveyard Manipulation for my new and improved sideboard!(Edit 1-25-19) Got back into magic recently and played FNM with this deck. Went 2-0 every game and got 1st place against some very good players with built decks. I went and ordered some cards to make it even more effective! Spellskite got added to the side deck, ranger's guile got an upgrade to blossoming defense, and blight mamba got taken out in favor of necropede. Never used the regenerate on blight mamba, so trying something new. Finally ordered a playset of Might of Old Krosa, and dropped giant growth. Looking forward to tonight!
Mulligan aggressively. You want an infect creature, a couple of lands, buffs, and a way to push damage through. Rancor and Predator's Strike allow you to trample damage over blockers, and Apostle's Blessing pulls double duty here, protecting your creature from removal and burn, as well as allowing you to make your creatures more difficult to block. Inkmoth nexus flies and gets around sorcery speed removal, making it an evasive threat and potential finisher if you haven't already counted to ten.

How about Might of Old Krosa?

Don't have any. If I had them I'd consider taking out the Giant Growths.
Seems like the type of deck that would likely catch somebody off guard once, but not twice! That's still sometimes enough to will another win out in some way. I was going to say you better have a creature and hope it sticks but I see you covered that as essential to this deck's strategy. Cool deck, dude!
Well, last FNM I tried it out and went 3-1, with 2-0 victories in two of my games. Lost to Abzan first round then went on to win against Affinity, Pyromancer's Ascension, and Scapeshift. Got a few packs and pulled a Thing in the Ice :). Ascension sided in bolts against me and I Giant Growth-ed out of one and cast Apostle's Blessing against another in game two. All in all I had a lot of fun with it.
That's what counts the most, my good man, having fun!Well, actually, winning some games and getting some free cards is even more fun, who am I kidding? :P haha. Glad to hear it was a success!
Is it worth splashing blue for Blighted Agent and Distortion Strike? They both can help by getting damage through though it might make this deck more expensive.
If I had the Noble Hierarchs I might consider it but I would need three more of them and they are not at all cheap :(
Yeah that's true. Noble Hierarch is crazy expensive right now. It seems like almost every modern deck that can is running it. By the way, I love your deck! Thumbs up from me.
