Deck Description

This is a remodeling of the standard M14 retail red/blue deck. This placeholder will change as i gain access to other cards.

I wanted to build a deck that embodied the fury and fire of Chandra but also had an icy stall to let me take my time burning my opponent the way I want to.

How to Play

This is my ideal combo:

Turn 1: play mountain
Turn 2: play mountain, play goblin short cutter
Turn 3: play mountain, play dragon hatchling, goblin attacks ( opponent life 18 )
Turn 4: play mountain, play another hatchling
Turn 5: play mountain, play Chandra
Turn 6: use chandra's middle ability of copy spell, play burn at the stake. ( 3 creatures x 3 = 9 points of damage. Doubled is 18 damage. Opponent is now dead. )

I know normally this won't happen right from turn one. This is why I combined red burn with a blue stall allowing me to take the time I needed to get these cards. With only one Chandra I also added the wild ricochet to essentially do the same copy move but with 9 lands needed (5 mountains min) to land the same combo. There is also plenty of pumpable/flying/direct damage/and unblockable to keep my opponent busy and me safe especially with my artifact giving me a bit of life.
