Treasure hunt combo decks are literally an elaborate coinflip. They are the worst kind of deck to play against. The player literally gives no shits what your doing. They mulligan until they hit treasure hunt, if they keep a hand you know exactly what kind of clock you are on. Either you can disrupt the combo and instantly win the game, or you have no answer and instantly lose. At this point why are we even playing magic the gathering? A game of rock paper scissors would provide the same kind of gratification as a treasure hunt deck brings to the table.

So you have x4 temur ascendency, with 8 cards that can activate it. Then you have x4 Hammer of Purphoros.... You would never want to draw a duplicate of this card unless your opponent destroys one..... Very awkward ratios, seems like a bad deck.
Seems pretty strait forward aggro. If anyone is interested this deck can easily be trimmed down to a much smaller 20 dollar budget. 1) Replace Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtsieze with 3 copies of blackmail, 1 copy of duress, and 1 copy of despise.2) Replace Wrath of God with Day of Judgment.3) Replace Path of Exile with Condemn.4) Replace all the lands with 8 swamps 10 pains and x4 Caves of Koilos, or x4 Orzhov Guildgate if you dont want to pay an extra 8 dollars.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Budget version is going to be less potent of course but its a good start if your interested in this deck for modern.
I feel the deck has mana problems. I would take out the 4 wardens for 4 llanowar elves. And I would take out the oracle for 2 elvish mystic. I think with 20 lands you are going to be starved for enough games at hitting your 3 drop for archdruid, something your deck needs to function.Get rid of the naturalize for Elvish Scrapper. I say get rid of at least one fog and add another promenade.
I like it a lot, I want to check it out and get back with you.
I think 20 mana is a little bit low for this curve. 23 or 24 would be better imo. This deck needs 3 lands to function at least, 20 lands you dont get your 3rd to often.Sigil of sleep is very strong, I would maindeck 3 or 4 in this kind of deck.I guess elbrus is okay to have in this deck. Tho it kind of costs 8 mana, thats almost half your mana in your deck. I dont see you playing it unless your on a roll with curiosity draw engine. I would keep elbrus if you put in 4 more islands for more consistency and a fun late game trump card.Maybe you are too heavy on the creatures. 20 is a good ratio but for this type of deck where all the creatures fill the same role I would go with 16.
Its a cute deck. Best combo seems like Omnibian and peer pressure.
Such boss cards for cheap, yeah definitely going to rework into G/B. You are awesome for suggestions!
Woah thanks for the suggestions! Great cards for cheap! Nykthos is expensive, but yeah thinking ima rework into G/B!!You are awesome for the suggestions thanks!
Woah!!! Didnt even know about those guys, added x3 right when I saw!!Thanks great card and only 25 cents.
Darksteel ingot maybe, still deciding.
x4 Duress would be very nice. Either wait until you have 6 mana to cast it before you cast your creature, or cast it with 4 mana and go for the creature next turn if its clear. And for "draw" I would just throw x2 copies of Diabolic Tutor in the deck. Would increase your odds of seeing Master of Cruelty from x4 to x6. So much more reliable.Overall these additions would really make your deck much more constant. I would take out x4 awe of the guilds, x2 Drown in Sorrow / Anger of the Gods to fit them in. Mugging would also be an option but seems nice for taking out 2 toughness creatures early game...Sideboard x4 Dark Betrayal to replace doom blade if opponent has black creaturesThe land ratio I will leave up to you. But you should most definitely run x3-x4 rogue's passage for this deck.
I feel the deck is to one dimensional. You also have no cardraw or tutors so you are relying on topdeck or opening hand to get your creature. And you have no way of protecting him, its just all in "If you dont have removal I win". A deck with any kind of creature removal is just going to strait up win against you but you have to wait 5 turns to figure this out....Coinflip deck that is unreliable. No offense of course just giving my 2 cents.
Yeah I was thinking sun's champion when I saw Knight-Errant at first, but thinking about it I think Knight-Errant would be a good fit for this deck. Can have that 4/4 flying threat on her own, hits the board earlier, and can beef up baneslayer which is nice. And like you said can pump up the manlands which is pretty sick.
@d3NecromasterYeah I built a cheap RDW that dominated MTG online verse decks which ran over 1000. Most expensive thing in there was Goblin Guide though.Anyways pure RDW isnt competitive imo just because of the sideboard options against RDW. But in 1 match games it just pooped on a lot of expensive decks.
Looks very solid. If you got 1000 dollars to drop on a card game this is a good deck to look at.
Inspiration would be better but I agree with great masterZ.
Might want to consider putting curiosity in there as its an infinite combo with your general. Maybe take out divination?
Divination? Use instant speed draw :O
