excellent. ill check it out. my group decided to make decks only with cards from our highschool years. yes, im an old man now. so for most of us, that was through '97. however, this deck doesnt have any cards later than revised. its fun to play in this format, it brings back all the right feels from my teenage years. we have a strict "no proxy" rule, and even if the card was released later, only the printed version through '97 is legal.
There are some variants of 93/94 that include the last edition printed that year, so in a few formats you will see stuff like hymn to tourac. It can be a very fun format except for the prices.I have a long time habit of proxying the entire meta to play test anything I want to play with. That way I won't end up buying something that won't work.
dont get me wrong. we def use proxies in our play group, just not for this specific format. hymn to tourach was considered for this deck, but it didnt make the cut. such an excellent card.
Hymn can be pretty annoying :)What if one of your group makes "the move" and buys into power 9 ?
