New to the game, had the nissa vs ob nixilis duel decks and enjoyed the black one.Wanted to build a black deck that focused on reviving and leeching other players life as well as destroying other players creatures with spells.

I struggle to wrap my head around this one, FNM with a non standard deck, right? What is the format of your FNM then?furthermore, the deck is extremely scattershot, a "basic black" starter deck would look like this. Neither midragne nor control, and definitely not aggro or combo. I would love to help but simply don't know how, don't know what the deck is meant to be, seeing as how your description simply describes all that black does, and so does your deck. And ramming "all" into any deck never works out.
