Deck discussion for Rakdos Aggro

NEAT! Im running a similar build like this. I cant say too much about this deck because I will only end up trying to turn it into MY Rakdos deck.

BUT.
Rakdos's return is useless in an aggro deck. Take it out. Its way too slow, and for someone running only 20lands, its not viable.

At the very least you will need 3mana to use Rakdos' return.
3mana to do 1 damage and discard 1 card isnt very efficient.
The only time Rakdos' return is ever efficient is if you pay 3mana for X. 5mana in total for 3damage and 3 discards is good and thats really the only time its cost-effective when it crosses that threshold.

lastly I highly suggest adding four more 1mana creatures to this deck. Thats absolutely non-negotiable for Aggro. Eight 1mana drop creatures is a staple. Specially for such a small landbase.

I agree with bootsncatsn about needing to be more aggressive. Here are my suggestions:

-4 Tormented Hero
+4 Firedrinker Satyr

-1 Thrill Kill Assassin, -2 Mizzium Mortars
+3 Blood Scrivener

-1 Swamp
-3 Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch
+4 Burning-Tree Emmisary

-2 Whip of Erebus
-2 Magma Jet
+4 Shock

-2 Dreadbore
+2 Tymaret, the Murder King

Murder King might help you close the distance. Flame Jet smooths your draws, but Shock is better for removing blockers and still being able to cast stuff. You could just run Ogre Battledriver instead of Axava since you only have one other creature than Axava that gets +1/+1. I think both are over doing it. I'd scale down the mana costs and go for more aggression or go for a bit more control and set your curve a little higher on creatures. The list seems a little scatter-brained a the moment.

I mean, he's still a 4/4 with Haste and First Strike. That is nothing to snuff at. But, I think you're ending your curve too high and not playing aggressive-enough cards to close out your games.
