Deck Description

Use Brion to toss Godsire tokens/Woolly Thoctars and use any of the redundant methods for untapping to multiply this effect. Ornithopters for cheap/expendable aerial defense. Redundant effects to play creatures cheaply while doing passive damage via "Where Ancients Tread". Vigor+Triclopean Sight+Elvish Piper combo to defend my weaker guys. (I used to have Thunderblust in place of the Troll, which might have been a better combo with "Where Ancients Tread"...this is all theory anyway.) Sideboard in Colfernor's Urn/Guttural Response/Vexing Shusher for going against heavy control decks-hopefully those are enough to bide time to fling a few Thoctars.

Deck discussion for Brion Stoutarm - Standard

I really think this deck is cool. Great idea.

Perhaps a suggestion I'd make is Birds of Paradise, and taking out the vivids for Jungle Shrines, but otherwise it looks pretty good.

Thanks! I made those changes you suggested, might have to try this out before too many other changes are made.

Nice deck, but looks to expensive for me.

Your a little too vulnerable to flying early and late. Hopefully you can beat them down quick enough before their early fliers take you out. I like the 4 Thoctars though. 4 Godsires may be a bit much. I'd hate to be playing against you when you get them out.

Maybe toss in a Primal Rage to make sure your fatties all get trample. So they can do max damage before you fling them with Stoutarm.

I made a deck similar to this except I didnt have the Godsires but i used a couple of Hateflayers, just for the extra damage...

mainboard path to exile, sac a creature then path it for damage and mana excel. u could also run bloom tender and some figs if you want. other than looks really solid and consistent.
