And that was without running the Elvish Promenade. I dropped them for two more lands, which I could just as easily exchange for two Heritage Druid.

The way I see it right now, with the four Overrun, four Triumph, two Craterhoofs, and two Ezuris, I have 12 board pumping spells for myself. And as far as ramp, I still feel like I have plenty. I playtested this list today and was able to get a Craterhoof off for lethal on turn 5 in one game, and another game I was able to win on turn 4 with Triumph. I feel like the speed is there. But I do need to put together a sideboard, so all of the cards we're throwing around could go there very easily.
Changes made:-2 Elvish Promenade-2 Ezuri-2 Doubling Chant+2 Craterhoof Behemoth+4 Devoted Druid
The one card that I've seen that I might have to throw in is Joraga Warcaller, but probably only as a two of. I want to keep this as Druid-themed as possible since it allows me crazy card draw with Gilt-Leaf.
This is wonderful! Maybe not the most competitive, but stuff like this is just fun. +1 for you sir!
I'm thinking of it specifically for the life gain. With all the zombies we could potentially produce, even if they wipe the board, the extra life could give us the time to recovering if we're slowed down. Erebos is basically there to prevent them from gaining life/card draw for us.
I would add two Hero's Downfall in the sideboard just for Planeswalker matchups. Besides that, pretty awesome!
I dig this version a lot. Thanks for the mention!Building a new Waste Not deck list right now.
I'm thinking of dropping two Hero's Downfall in favor of two Murderous Cut, strictly because of the delve we will have available. Only keeping the two Downfall for the potential walker threat that some decks pose. If we wanted to throw cards in to work around Soulflayer, Gurmag Swiftwing would have to be a 3-4 of. I like the idea of giving Soulflayer flying, first strike, and haste, potentially on turn 3.
All are viable options. I'd be open to splashing blue for Dictate of Kruphix as well as Treasure Cruise for card draw. I wanted to try to keep it Mono Black for the sole purpose of keeping the cost down a bit. (I am running proxys of Thoughtseize.)I don't think I want to run Endless Obedience and go the reanimator route, but if I could I would love to turn this into a cheaper U/B control deck. I've also seen versions of this deck running white and tossing in Spirit of the Labyrinth, but that brings things to a halt for you as well and relies strictly on your current board presence to get things done.
When I play tested an alternate version of this deck, I ran out of steam and never got to use them. What do you suggest I replace them with?
Thanks Dith0rder. Made a few changes, I think it helps things a bit.
Only issue in my opinion is draw power. Any suggestions for this?
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh buddy.
Thanks baconman!
We will see... I know that I am going to proxy it so I can play it before some of the cards rotate out of Standard.
BOOOOOO THIS DECK SUCKS.Just kidding. I likes.
