Deck Description

This deck is all about countering, controlling, and just plain being annoying. This deck was built to prove the worth of the often underused cards. Time reversal allows for the reusing of my counters and removed creatures. And lets face it, i'm not going to spend another $170 to get a couple of Mind Sculptors. I do not have all of these cards, but I'm trying to keep it relatively budget. Seriously, as is, this deck is cheaper than a single Mind Sculptor.

Win conditions: creatures and sphinx-bone wand

please comment and give suggestions. I want this to become competitive to some degree in the future.

Deck discussion for Reversal Control help?

Sphinx bone-ward is too expensive to cast to make up for its uses. U could go with the conundrum sphinx idea..put preordain and maybe 1 crystal ball? Or Mill could be a gd blue option tough i prefer blue splashed with other colours like black or white.

Cost shouldn't be a problem in a control deck. That's why it's a two-of. besides, it just adds that much more force behind my counters. I see where you're coming from with the cost, but I really want a win condition other than my creature force. Mill is just too slow and isn't supported enough by the deck. I put enough mill in the sideboard if it ever comes to that.

i have to say that i agree with mr thopter.sphinx bone wand is too expensive to make up for its costs. If you are looking for a late game drop that makes your instant and sorcery spells more powerful/deadly i suggest Cast through time. For this decki think getting your instant and sorcery spells again next turn is better than dealing a bit of damage.

but what do my sorceries and instants do for me? they're bounces and counters, mostly, so rebounding them wouldn't be that effective.
