actually bioshift plays quite well, as long as you know how to use it. my friend plays a deck that uses bioshift. think of it this way, you swing all in with a bioshift and open mana. blockers are declared. you bioshift all of your counters on your biggest guy to the guy not being blocked

you should really get something that pumps biomancer. like either bioshifts or increasing savagery. if you go the bioshift route then id also suggest running primordial hydra. drop him as an investment then bioshift with a corpsejack out onto a biomancer

the way i understand it, when the vizkopa blood combo became standard it was legel since there are no bans in standard. i see why it would get banned in modern or other formats, but i dont see it as creating a draw. like it literally doesnt add up. banned? maybe. draw? doubt it

i would honestly put in doubling season just because you do have devour in the deck. but it looks so much better!

seems good, id play a set of crypt ghast because its just really good for production. i dont see how it could end in a draw, you simple gain all of your opponents life, which ends the game when they die. since the game ends and you have life remaining, you win. dont know where the whole "draw" issue came from.

too many one of's... and seriously, no rhys the redeemed? he's a must have in tokens! and you aren't running anywhere near the amount of lands you should be, you have creature that cost 6+, you need to be running at least 24 lands. let me break down the deck and give some suggestions

collective blessing is a later game bomb, not a staple. cut it down to two
silver seraph is way too expensive, drop it
divine sacrament isnt worth the casting cost, drop
tajic just doest fit in, drop
crusader of odric, drop
captain of the watch just isnt good enough and too expensive, drop

so right now we're at -10

add in one each of the leige's
one more intangible virtue
two rhy's the redeemed(three if you drop elish norn)
and the rest in lands

maybe drop eldrazi monument for another nobilis?

that should balance the deck and give it a little more umph

why are you playing populate mechanics when the only token you pull from this deck is a legend(you'll never ult ajani in modern)? you should drop everything that has to do with tokens(except trostani)

I think it would work better with cradle of vitality... And some rhox and/or boon reflection

Honestly the only good combo I see is legion's initiative + Gideons ultimate. I looked through some hands and you never really get what you need put of the deck. You need more synergy plus a better mana base

spark trooper is an instant six life. its a twelve life swing for four mana. that's pretty damn good. bonded to a silverblade and it wins games

well yeah, i meant more of is it competitive? id be really interested in playing it at FNM in the modern format
(sleight of hand instead of ponder)

Needs snapcaster. And revelation for card draw. I would also consider Vorel. He doubles filibuster counters. Makes it three turns instead of five

i would drop gideon. and find spots for skynight legionnaire and spark trooper

seen the new hydra? yeah... you could go gruul and play that or go simic and play Vorel. or you could go balls deep and play both
