The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUY6YOCqoAI Aaaaaw yeah, Muse time. This deck is stupidly fun, and stupidly easy to pilot. I think I might use it as my main aggro-control deck for the season :)

4 mox diamond and only 18 lands seems like a recipe for disaster. i was never a big fan of bloodghast either, but he isnt bad. is the white splash for loxodon worth it? why not play some knights? honestly the dirt deck you posted seemed like a muuuuch better version of something like this.

Well the thing is that this is something a little more "casual", and the landbase was going through some changes before I left to help a friend do some home improvement. There is no white splash, I stuck the Loxodon in because I just knew I wanted a creature with a good power, and I kind of need it to be a green creature for the math to work out in my favor. Bloodghast is actually one of my favourite creatures in a Pox list, even one so bad as this. It's somewhat of an acquired taste, but in my more lockout designs, it's simply brutal. Amore e morte is a list of mine that exemplifies that quite well I think. I really just want to make an BG Bloodghast control after tinkering about with Death Cloud lately, and I don't want to cheat and think about RaggedJoe's list. As far as I know he's retired from this site, so I'd prefer to leave his designs in peace, and work from scratch transposing this idea from Modern to Legacy.
there we go. i see you made a few changes last night. this is looking kinda beast now. i like it alot. and i definitely can see bloodghast fitting real well in here. iv been playing against alot of these Bg/ BUG control lists lately and there a bitch to play against. so much disruption and creature control, its a tough match for almost any deck. my one suggestion at this point, would be to maybe drop 1 life from the loam for another ghastly demise? i dont think theres really too much you would wanna change other than that though.but with smallpox and mox diamond those life from the loams are probably gonna come in handy. so im not 100% lookin real good though
Took a more Poxless Pox approach, and it has been pleasantly surprising in testing. I'm happy you like it Jack, your input has never been anything but useful to me, for that I thank you. Bloodghast likes to sneak up on people who don't experiment with him a lot, I had originally been a dissenter, but Sure convinced me to tinker with them, and I've not looked back :) There definitely is a painful amount of BG/x control and tempo right now, but sadly the reason for that is the brilliant piece of hate that is Abrupt Decay. Being able to use uncounterable removal for half of the major threats in the format is a big step up from just running Snuff Out to deal with an opposing 'goyf. Life from the Loam at one is something I'm sketchy about at best, but I would love to run a third Ghastly Demise. At one point last night I'd started toying with the idea of not running Ghastly Demise, instead playing a Raven's Crime, and a Flame Jab, and while the idea of a Jund control holds for Modern, there's no way I'd be able to justify it in Legacy right now.
6/24/6 Why does that curve seem so familiar to me? It's driving me crazy =[ Anyway, Jack's right, this looks like the deck you've been trying to convert to Modern. I honestly think you could take this basic frame and apply it to Modern. I know this one is faster (obviously, it's in the sexy land of Legacy), but you'll be able to refer to this frame now =]
It's simple why that curve is so familiar to you Sure, we both wind up using it more than we should. Sometimes the numbers are via alternative costs, but in the end a lot of our control builds that make use of Mox Diamond have had almost that exact curve :) Our more signature builds are exceptions, but those are exceptions to a lot of things.
Deathrite Shaman makes it 9/24/3 :P
Well damn, that takes this deck out of the running for using that curve.
9/24/3 is a sexy curve though. I've seen it used in a number of Junk builds in the past, as well as a really weird Fish =/
It is sexy, in fact it's sexier to me. I've used it a bit, but usually I prefer a bit less dependency in the 2cmc slot, it's bad news being able to be hit so hard by Abrupt Decay, and Spell Snare. I don't think I've ever seen such a curve in Fish though, that's just kind of weird.
I made a 2 cmc dependent casual Fish Tribal that goes nuts....nothing like this curve though.
man looking at this again, i cant get over how badass this looks. im about to load it into cockatrice and try it out. hahaha
:) Hope it does well for you Jack, this deck is a heap of fun so far, and does at least decently well.
Man, I hate the transition period when we're all waiting for the next set to come out, especially since the next set has freakin' ORZHOV in it @_@ Yet I find myself continuously drawn back to this deck...maybe it's for the amazing song link, or maybe it's because it's a "mix-tape" of many G/B deck types that I love. Hell, it even feels a little Filth-y Oh, and what if you made that one forest into a Dryad Arbor?
i am going to have to find ways to use (and abuse) deathrite shaman. if it works half as good as it looks like it does in this list then it will be a great new toy for me. :) i hate to be a moocher, but i recently got a special artwork zo-zu from allison (she is a graphic artist :P) and therefore put together an edh list that i would like a second opinion on. happy stomping!
by the way, the deck is named 'punish me'.
