Still working out the kinks, but this is the frame I'm currently testing for Orzhov Pox.

Jinxed idol is a strange choice. It will work for sure, just seems a tad off...However, I freakin LOVE the landbase you have here.

Well I needed a way to win other than just the Ghasts, and it's the one I figure I can setup the best. It seems weird and janky, but it's the first functional method I found. The landbase is something I'm really happy with too, when I finally got it working for the Iso-Pox deck it kind of became my reference for anything in Orzhov, and it's close to what I use in mono-black too.
I quite like Jinxed Idol. It fits the way the deck picks away at the opponent, and it simply works. I am surprised to see a full package of Moxen here, as your norm, it appears, is to opt toward the safer three and use the last slot as a form of defense. A 'safety-blanket' slot, if you will.I must agree the lands you chose are brilliant, though I personally would not use four Wastelands. That is, of course, a matter of preference, so all in all a fantastic job.
After the time I've used it so far, I have to agree with you. I had originally been thinking I'd nix the Idol in favor of a more traditional slot, but it's quite great here, and presents a painful chisel to deal with.I'm glad you mentioned the Moxen, as it turns out, I shall be reverting to my safety-blanket approach! I thought it would be good to experiment with the speed, but it's hard for me to change in my ways sometimes, and that one slot can make the difference in my opinion.I don't think I could imagine this landbase without four Wastelands personally, it's hard enough for me to see it without four Ports, as the mana denial is so central to this list. Out of curiosity, what would be your preference in that slot?
I would either run a second Tabernacle to ensure its effect is seen more often than not, or I would use a full set of Ports, depending on the deck's flow. I suppose one of the assorted 'chisel lands' might also make an appearance.
I can understand both of those, but one of the things that makes running the Bloodghasts so worth it is that it's naturally enabled by Crucible of Worlds with the full playset of Wasteland. It essentially gives me chisels for the mana denial already built in, and that's a pretty big incentive to me.
Yeah no I am marrying this deck if you can sell me on 3x Undiscovered Paradise xD
