Black is there for these reasons: Creature control, Balthor the Defiler and land destruction.
My first intension was to make just a pure dwarf theme deck, but then i spotted too many dwarfs that are good at land destruction.

Yep, terror is there for regenereration thingy :). Chainer has always had a dear place in my heart, and i really like sets like tornment, onslaught and such.
