Deck discussion for Tooookens!

just a stupid question quick. (not that I have a right to be asking because I just created my account) but I find that Ray of Revelation doesn't do me much good because I rarely find myself playing against decks that use higher end enchantments.

That aside. Have you thought about putting a splash of black in for lingering souls? 2w with a 1b flashback cost for 2 spirit tokens w flying? Maybe in the sideboard?

I played this token deck a lot:

I would suggest taking out Mausoleum Guard and adding Blade Splicer. Also put Ray of Revelation and Timely Reinforcements in your sideboard and add Fresh Meat. It is awesome combined with Awakening Zone.

As puriandrua already suggested, drop Midnight Haunting for Lingering Souls. You have ways to search a swamp so it will be very useful.

Good luck with the deck!

Freshmeat is for every creature put into the graveyard during turn though, and when you tap sac your tokens for mana aren't you just destroying the token, thus not putting it in the graveyard? Or am I confused on this ruling?

If you sacrifice a creature it goes to your graveyard. That also counts for tokens, so this is a legal combo and a deadly one too. Took the idea from Jacon Van Lunen on the official MTG site, so it's pretty reliable.

Another thought for this deck. Being that it's green and you have the ramp up needed for mana have you ever considered dropping one intangible virtue and one parallel lives for 2x of the Shrine of loyalty? 2 drop add a counter every white spell OR at the beginning of your upkeep. Tap 3 sac 1/1 myr for every counter on shrine?
