Deck Description

This is a fast mana deck with lots of control. i have played it and it seems to work great . ima take it to fnm and see how it fairs there.

Deck discussion for working door to nothingness (actually works)

How do you get 2 of each colour mana? BoP can only produce 1 and does easily. Pilgrim only adds white and suffers the same problem BoP does. Lotus adds 3 of ONE colour. I don't see enough mana fixing to make Door a win condition.

The last time i played i had two birds, a pilgrim, sunpedal grove, and a lotus...already had two forests and two islands...do the math....pilgram+sunpedal=whites....birds=black...pedal=red....I already had blue and green.
where's the confusion?

My confusion lies in how the birds and pilgrims lived long enough. The second the opponent sees Door (if he let it resolve) will send every burn, kill or bounce spell at their disposal to prevent the Door's activation. That is if door survives long enough to untap (there's a lot of artifact hate in standard at the moment).

It turns out that my opponent did kill one of my birds and a pilgrim...but i had more to make up for them. I have allot of control to prevent just that from happening but inevitably some will die...that's why i put in spares lol also you shouldn't play door to nothingness the moment you get five mana... you should wait no sooner than two turns before you can use it before you cast it. That will minimize your chances of having it get destroyed. And again, in my sideboard i have plenty of protection against most anti-artifact spells and sorceries should my opponent show to have allot of anti-artifact in his deck.
