So how does this deck work?
You even have idyllic tutor to help you.
I dig the deck man.
Oh wait nevermind, I just figured it out.
I don't get it. What does gleemax do in this deck?
Well the thing is that mana from braid of fire can only be spent during my upkeep, and only instant spells, or spells with flash, can be played during the upkeep. So having an ex cost card that can't use braid of fire's mana is sort of useless, no offense meant by saying that. I switched in destructive revelry for hull breach, thanks for youe suggetions.
Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize that I had 8 of them. I replaced them with different cards.
Advice taken. Homing Sliver added.
So what's the win condition of this deck?
Oh really? I had no idea. Thanks for the tip. I thought it meant you could only have one out at a time.
Nice use of evacuation.
The problem is that cultivate puts it in my hand not on the battlefield, and since this deck has so many lands I will draw a lot of lands, so putting lands in my hand is no bueno. Normally I would use cultivate but not for this deck. Thanks for the tip though.
And to answer your question I do not even own this deck.
First step: if Quest for Ula's Temple isn't in my hand, I can use Halimar Depths, Enlightened Tutor, and Sage of Epitar to get it faster. Second step: play Quest for Ula's Temple Third step: put 3 quest counters on it with Clock Spinning and with it's regular ability, I can also speed it's regular ability with Halimar Depths, and Sage of Epitar.Fourth Step: Use Quest for Renewal's second ability to put a huge creature into play at the end of each turn, note that this means the more people who are playing, the more creatures i put into play.Fifth step: Use Stormtide Leviathan or Reef Shaman so that my opponents lands become islands and my huge islandwalk creatures are unblockable.Sixth Step: Use Stormtide Leviathan's ability to make only creatures with islandwalk or flying, which hopefully will only be mine, can attackSeventh step: In case I still haven't won yet, I use Whelming wave to return creatures that are not Serpents, Leviathans, Octopi, or Kraken, which again hopefully I'm the only who has creatures of the named type, to their controllers hands.Eighth and final step: wipe the board clean with my unblockable sea monsters.
Lightning Bolt isn't standard? Man that bites.
This is a nice deck but may I ask, why are you using lightning strike instead of lightning bolt?
