Deck discussion for Mental Annoyance (Standard Control)

I like it. But you may wish to consider cutting two each of your basics for Sulfur Falls. Also, I'd like to ask how Rewind might work in this deck.

Question. With slumbering dragon, how are you going to use it/ get counters on it? It can't attack or block unless it has 5 +1/+1 counters on it. The only thing that I can see you using it for is dual casting but if you counter everything, the dragon is just a waste of space. I think you would get more use out of delver of secrets in this deck than the dragon. On another note, there are other cards that do the same thing as duel casting though they are not enchantments (reverberate, increasing vengeance, chandra, the firebrand). I think that thundermaw helkite with all of talrand's tokens could be a great finisher and favorable winds could help boost them. Just a thought.

Actually, i really like slumbering dragon in here. seeing as the 4 of it is half of the turn 1 drops, having it out on turn 1 and being attacked on turns 2,3,4 etc boost it up quick, and when it has its counters on there its go time. Even if you have to wait til turn 7 or 8, an 8/8 flyer for 1 cannot be beat. many black players also use cards like murder and white players use o-ring because it is an immediate big threat as soon as it hits 5 counters, and they don't want to deal with a big threat like that.

Thanks for the comments guys, I have slumbering in here, just for the "fear factor" who wants to even attack someone that has them in play ? not to mention when it hits 5 counters and they decide to remove it, you can counter most of the removal or destroy spells, and by that time the Phantasm(s) should be 5/5 flyers aswell, and if you caught an early Talrand you should be sitting on a good amount of drakes, but thats really all Slumbering is there for , Mental frustration from him.

I will remove a few lands for Sulfur Falls

Other than Lunar mystic, where on earth are your draw cards? Nice ideas, but this deck will fall flat on it's face turn 5/6 due to casting all those 2-drop spells, and having no hand. I suggest ponder, divination or foresee, for the most basic of fuels to the fire.

People who play any type of Aggro deck are gonna smoke it.. Slumbering dragon isn't good of he just sets there.. He needs to get those 5 counters in 1 turn 2 tops.. Too much creature hate for him

So far I haven't had a problem with any good aggro decks, but thats just with local casual play, in tournaments I can see what you're saying, I was thinking of dropping the dragons for Augur of Bolas and Fog Banks, and 2 Redirects for 2 Chandra's and see how that works.
