Deck discussion for I Am Sorry I Really Truly Am

how about Viashino Heretic? I love this guy!
though i think you might need more card draw / tutoring as you are depending on Liquimetal Coating. how about Browbeat and/or Harmonize?

No splinter?
Also Myr Landshaper works well as an extra to Liquimetal
Acidic Slime with mimic vats for funsies as well

This deck is very cool. I would definitely have another win condition take up 2 slots in addition to Rolling Terrain, though. Phyrexian Metamorph copying their creature before you it up, and beat them in the face with it maybe? That might not be the best recommendation for a win-con, but I feel like you gotta have a back up plan! Throw 2 Wormcoil Engines in or something.

Aside from that, this looks very cruel against a lot of decks. It might be worth splashing white just for 4 Enlightened Tutors to ensure you get your Liquimetal Coating!

you may want to try and add some prevention in here since a single Surgical Extraction could take care of Liquimetal Coating in a heartbeat.

OMG WHY NO SPLINTER!!!!!!??????
It is the bee's knees with liquidmetal! on t4, play splinter, then they will have absolutely no land, then you can fit in more creatures!!!!!! add it or I buy this deck, and stab it (jk I need the money for an edh)

Splinter would be insane in here like everyone else seems to be suggesting. Also, Shattering Spree + Mycosynth Lattice is just soo sick. The Lattice would be good even without the Shattering Spree, anyway. Also, Ancient Grudge is sick. Just some more options. Hope it helps.

add the dragon that destroys artifacts and pumps itself in the process hoardsmelter i think it is there is your wincon since you seem to want to keep it standard legal

Any deck where the win condition is 'Rage Quit' works for me. I am totally doing this.

2 Hoard-Smelter for your win-con (you need one!!!!), Shattering Spree instead of Shatter (direct upgrade), 2 Mycosynth Lattice, and 2 Splinter.

Now you will be in business.

There's a goblin which blows up artifacts as well I believe, he might be worth considering. As well as Splinter.

This deck is hella cheap, so I built it. It's not very fantastic, even in casual play. Play tested for a month or more before I finally gave up on trying to make it worth anything

Add splinter to remove the rest of the lands from their library from the game

I actually have a similar deck but its not about destroying lands, why stop there? My deck is based around destroying everything. Turn permanent into an artifact, good play Shatter, Ancient grudge, Hoard smelter dragon or Oxidda scrapmelter, which helps with removal and what not. If you wanna compare decks let me know.

I hate to point out that this deck loses most of the time... everything will hit the table on turn three earliest. Control decks are up and defensive against you on turn 1 (spell pierce) and almost always on turn 2 (mana leak, negate).

Standard rush wins on turn 2 or 3.
1; panic spell bomb, 2; kiln fiend/immolating souleatter, 3; Assault strobe, mutagenic growth, tainted strike, vampires bite, etc...
1: Glister elf, 2; Assault Strobe, Mutagenic growth, Giant growth, etc...

Mana ramp will put you to shame, I watch this type deck (green/blue form) try to beat a valakut. deck. Was funny to watch.

But the idea is fun!! :D

hmm, this is an interesting idea. I think a solid deck can be built around this idea using liquimetal coating with mimic vat and manic vandal.

Smash to Smithereens is a two mana red instant that destroys target artifact and deals 3 damage to that artifact's controller. Would be pretty awesome with your deck :]
