This is the deck I usually run. It does it's thing, I designed it after getting back into magic earlier this year from a ten year "break". Feedback is always cute. I'm also curious as if to whether or not there's a way to make this effective for modern tournament play.... I know it could end a pipe dream but, any pro tips are appreciated.
Thanks to cards like dark ritual, you can usually get a nocturnus or bloodline keeper doing there thang by around turn 2. The lightning greaves belong there for any sort of removal and free equip cost haste/shroud if you drop a keeper you can make a token, and then attack with the token; before having it return to the keeper to protect him from direct removal. Then nirkana and the shrine are in there if you feel need to go all out with some late game multiplayer casting.

well to get this in vintage you would only want one demonic tutor and for both vintage and legacy lose demonic all together. dark ritual and lightning greaves are the only thing keeping it from extended. if you just got rid of the ritual it looks like it might play in modern. now most of your creatures are really expensive to cast so I would look into getting some cheap defense or control and then concentrate on one aspect of the deck. victim of night and tragic slip is a real good start. however the bloods aren't really getting used so you could lose those for now and get some of the cheaper common vampires like interloper, child of night etc.

Thank you very much for the advice, I'll considered throwing in some highborns or something tasteful along those lines, I've never been a fan of interloper; however bloodline keeper seems to do his thing rather well with any long term commitments, if he gets the chance to flip it usually changes the tide especially if there's already a noctrunus on field. He also tends to be a target for removal which in some masochistic ways I like considering it wastes my opponent's ammo . These are the cards I've been working with other than the demonics, I'm so poor I sign in blood, so I might try making some proxies to test out better placeholders..... I mean hell if I'm going for speed a turn one vampiric would be nice but, if I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure that's banned to the darkest depths of hell in most formats... speaking of that is dark depths banned from modern? If not i could fill the void with that and some hexmages.
If anything shadow alley denizen may get her play time again, for those occasions where flying alone isn't enough to let through damage.
