Sigil of sleep may be a good and cheap way of board control.

I have an Izzet deck based on unblockable creatures as well, take a look if it helps you any way:

I have one question, torpor orb makes creatures entering the battlefield don't cause abilities to trigger.
But some of the creatures in the deck have effects when they enter play, not when they enter the battlefield.
For example, eater of days makes you skip your next 2 turns when it enters play, would torpor orb null this effect?

If the idea is to burn the other player as fast as you can, maybe you could replace shock or searing spear for lava spike. More damage, one mana.
