Deck Description

milling, not much else. straight up mill, hard, early, often. this is the first deck i built that i can put out there and be pretty confident in. any ideas to make this Better would be awesome.

Side note, check my other deck, normalizer "mark 2". Its a better design.

How to Play

i usually lead with either a hedron crab, or a tome scour. then i like to hit the glimpse, followed by a mind funeral. thats a good start for t3, & it just gets nastier and nastier with each turn. my friends hate this deck, amd purposely built 150 card decks, but even that didn't help. it will get the job done.

Deck discussion for Normalizer

Use Sewer Nemesis, Jace's Phantasm, or Avatar of Woe : they are excellent with this kind of deck
Watch out for decks that take cards in their graveyards, or eldrazi decks with creatures like kozilek who always go back in the library
I build a pretty similar deck but more based on zombies, you can take a look maybe it'll give you some ideas
To mill more : Sword of body and mind

wow, never seen sword of body and mind before. that is a nasty card. I'm kind of big on keeping this deck as "pure" a mill deck as i can, so i tried to shy away from damage dealing. i was running jace's phantasm when this deck was in its infant stage, and found it to be counterproductive. my goal was to build a deck that could 4 turn mill just about anyone. this one can pretty consistently do it t5, provided nothing squeaks out early. its not without its weaknesses.

I still recommend Sewer Nemesis or Avatar of Woe in your sideboard, just in case...
And Leyline of the Void exiles your oppponent's cards that go in the graveyard, which can be useful against some decks, so in the sideboard too !
(and you're very vulnerable against flying creatures, so maybe a levitation or two in your sb...)
And for your friends, they should try to win by burning you on turn 2 or 3, cause if the game goes on they'll get milled

yeah, flying is usually what i lack in decks i build. not sure why that is. I recently came back to the game after a 12 year break, so I'm just now getting back into the swing of it. it would be nice to be able to throw in the damage dealers if it gets nasty. i've been working on a good bench for this deck, and i think you just did it for me. any chance you can take a peek at my other deck?

I'm pretty new to magic too and I helped you cause I had built a similar deck, but for your other deck, I'll have to search more
I was thinking of making a WGU exalted deck, so if I finish it i'll come back to you

I love that stuffy doll deck you built. I'm putting that together now.

I just recently came back to playing after a 10 year break , and this is by far one of the best deck i seen so far . It deffinitly something i would try to build . I got a few questions regarding it , Is this legal in Standard tournaments ? What about Jester's Cap for removing those pesky card that keeps going back into the library ?

Keep me posted :)

I'm pretty sure this is modern legal. i did consider jesters cap at one point, but seeing what jujulatorture said made me think that if it got to that point of those cards being all that's left, i would hope by then to have done enough damage with sewer memesis to be lethal. im totally redesigning this build as we speak. just waiting for the cards to come in the mail lol
