Faeries... Nasty little things. Can you imagine a tiny little sprite smacking face with a huge Batterskull? Yikes! This deck is super fun to play, yet very complicated. Many games have been won or lost with a matter of 1 life, which happened to be swinging or not 5 turns ago with a 1/1 flyer. All in all, this deck is what mtg is all about.
Like most decks, being on the play is huge.On the Play:Turn 1, Ancestral Visions. Turn 2... Bitterblossom. On the Draw:Turn 1, Thoughtseize/IoK. Turn 2... Bitterblossom/CounterThe deck is very versatile and each decision is extremely sensitive to the situation/matchup. In general, you want to hit bitterblossom as soon as possible and ride out the faerie wave. The card fuels your entire deck by either chump blocking big dudes, countering high cmc spells with sprite, championing with your Clique, and killing your opponent with 6+1/1 flyers. The deck is most comparable to a throttle. It switches from control to aggro in a pinch. Knowing the exact time to do so is the key to winning. This is what makes the deck so much fun to play. While it is hard to say how to play after turn 2, because it is so dependent on the situation. I will leave you with a few notes to keep in mind:- Greedy mana base for a 2 color deck. Careful selecting opening hand- Mistbind Clique is Timewalk on a 4/4 flying body. This card wins games- Batterskull is for the more difficult matchups, opponents rarely have an answer game 1- Disrupt your opponents hand by taking answers to bitterblossom, or big threats- If you are low on life, championing your bitterblossom will slow your roll- Pressure your opponent early by swinging for 1 when you can- 7 man-lands.. save them for the end grind- Champion your mutavaults or use them for counters with sprites, or even sacrifice to Kalitas for a sure confused opponent- Be careful of Bloodmoon and Trample creatures- Never Tap out

Very well tuned list! For the eldrazi and tron matchup you have mentioned, you could try to sideboard ghost quarters instead of rain of tears. It can disable tron as fast as turn one combined with surgical extraction. Works well for me, althought i hate playing against op eldrazi overall.See you around!

Thanks Splinter. I will have to give the GQs in the board a try. I like rain of tears as it flat out kills lands, and slows my opponent down a turn. Granted the GQ is probably better in the Tron matchup, I think rain helps more in other common match ups.
