Yes thank you, I understand now. I was confused as to when the phasing was occurring.

How would Taniwha + Vanishing permanently phase out a player's lands? I don't know if I really properly understand the phasing mechanic.
Thanks for the comment, I agree with you on all of the above and will make changes.
Utvara Hellkite is another terrific card that could benefit this deck and could replace Archwing Dragon.
When you use Reconnaissance, target creature will NOT deal combat damage although if used with Kaalia will trigger her ability.
Also I would definitely take out Archwing Dragon. Since you are going to be cheating in creatures with Kaalia, it makes no since to have him especially given that you must remove it at the beginning of your endstep. You could replace it with Bogarden Hellkite since you have Kiki-Jiki or even better Steel Hellkite for some removal options. Also you don't have that much of a need for things like fervor since again, you are getting in creatures with Kaalia and they will come in tapped and attacking.
Well you could add one of the eventide lands Rugged Prairie of Fetid Heath. Reflecting Pool and Vesuva are great lands for multicolored decks as well. Kher Keep may have some utility if you have extra mana left over at the end of your turn. Sacred Foundry, Godless Shrine, and Blood Crypt are very good too. I would also take out Akoum Refuge as it can be rather annoying in the beginning of the game to have that come in tapped and you could even replace it with Blackcleave Cliffs and avoid that problem. The one life point you gain from it is trivial in EDH anyways.
Well you don't really need Jace, Architect of Thought. It's not really that beneficial towards the goal of this deck. You could also profit by adding in some protection for Niv Mizzet in the form of Spellskite, Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Champion's Helm, alexi's cloak, or something. Since you are likely going to have a large hand, forbid might be a good choice for the buyback. If you want to increase your chances of having no maximum hand size, Venser's Journal, Spellbook, or Library of Leng would help. Glen Elendra Archmage is also another great card you could add in to achieve a bit more control.
You could replace Emeria the sky ruin with something better. It is very unlikely you are going to get out 7 out of the 11 plains you have in the deck given that it is a three color deck.
