The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

It's a soldier deck, based on creatures. It has to many cards. Please, help me get this deck to 80 cards!

I just looked at it but it doesn't help me find the way to get my deck smaller. I'll take a look at your deck pretty soon.
i had a nasty encounter with using Aven Cloudchaser my opponent didnt have an enchantment but i did, and its quite high mana. but otherwise go with your heart they are all good cards thats part of the fun :)
I understant what you mean and I know it's frustrating when it happens. I have played Aven Cloudchaser for years (in an old bird deck) and that have never happen to me. Maybe it will happen one day. ^^
well to reduce the amount of cards in your deck you need to first realize what is the core of your deck then see what are the best cards to put round it... for those reason id take out semblance anvil since your mana curve isn't that high and you seem to have a pretty large variety of cards types plus when you play semblance anvil you lose 2 cards in hand thus you have less creatures to play. then id take out ajanie mantra because all it does is give you 1 life per turn and i think you would prefer drawing something that will help you kill your opponent then something that will maybe help you survive two cards down that makes 1 more land gone. id also take out pacifism cause unless you play more then 1 you are unlikely to draw it and it is not healthy to simply hope that you will draw it when you need it (certainly not with 80 cards in your deck) id take demystify and revoke existence out of it also because unless you know your opponent is going to play with a lot of enchantments/artifacts they are dead cards in hand (useless) so that takes out 2 more lands o and take haazda out cause you can really get better cards then him that do the same effect sure they might not be soldiers but since they wont be creatures they cant be killed so easily and they wont take 2 mana per turn and to that you take out one more land so you are now down to 79 cards i encourage you to keep on taking what you think wouldent be so useful out and maybe get to 60 cards :) i hope you appreciated my comments i'm sorry if you found them insulting they where not intended to be they where only intended to be constructive...
I agree that Ajani's Mantra should be removed, along with Lifelink. Unless you have an alternate win condition, lifegain doesn't win games, it just helps you not lose them. Demystify, Revoke Existence, and Aven Cloudchaser are great sideboard cards against heavy artifact and enchantment decks, but dead cards against creature-based decks. In my opinion, Pennon Blade costs far too much for what it does. You're spending 7 mana for what could be +1/+1. Strata Scythe, on the other hand, is much stronger. Lands are a lot more likely to stick around, making it far more likely that you're going to get more for the 6 mana you spend here than what you get from Pennon Blade. Bladed Pinions, Whispersilk Cloak, and Veteran's Armaments are all very strong choices. You have a lot of creatures that increase your ability to block large numbers of attackers. That kind of a defensive strategy will crumble if you don't have a way to keep those creatures alive. The 3 Holy Days and the Safe Passage won't cut it. I'd cut away some of those in favor of the more aggressive cards. Hazda Shield Mate is nice, but in order for him to be really effective, you need to be able to pay at least WWW every turn. Consider Story Circle instead. For a deck with so many high-cost soldiers, consider running Preeminent Captain. Where I can really see this deck falling apart is in its lack of removal. If your opponent casts any creature you can't deal with, you have no way of getting it off the table. You have a lot of options here. Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere, Wing Shards, . You could even run Day of Judgement (or Wrath of God, if you can afford it) or Cataclysm; you're deck can probably recover from any of those.
Another potential board wiper spell you could run is Harsh Mercy. It would do nothing against other Tribal decks, but you would be completely unharmed by it.
Good deck. Daru warchief and Cenn's Tactician are new ones for me.
Nice deck. I have a soldier deck. Take a look at it and tell me what you think. You may be able to get some ideas. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=213453
