Deck Description

make your opponent lose life and then you gain life bloodchief ascension with phyrexian obliterator is particularly brutal. kaervek for if things turn into a stalemate. killing wave is also pretty nasty with sanguine bond and exquisite blood.

How to Play

Exquisite blood and sanguine bond are an infinite combo if you get that its game over. if you have bloodchief ascension out killing wave can be very effective. almost every card in this deck is geared to make your opponent lose life.

Never been a fan of Killing Wave because it just gives your opponent a choice. It does fit this deck's theme however.

Its one hell of a choice lol. worked beautifully for me. ive also gotten the exquisite blood and sanguine bond combo off in my first game with it against vaan104. hes the one who told me about that combo and hes never managed to get it himself

Mindcrank is also another option to go with for another infinite combo.

Nice deck it's a lot like my Fiery Fate deck. Personally I like Erebos over Mogis. He becomes active with just Obliterator. I also think Kaervek the Merciless is to high mana costly to be playable in modern environment, It will be a dead card in your hand more often then not. Dreadbore or Terminate could be very useful as some spot removal.

kaervek is in case things become stale mated or if i get the mana for it for something fun to do

I understand the point you have but to use 2 spots in your deck just in case a game becomes stalemated in a format which is so fast and aggressive seems to be... pointless. Unless this is merely a casual deck that happens to fall into the modern format, then by all means play it for kicks.

ya he just plays casual but mostly against me so its still to slow lol

also if you look at my mana cuve it can afford a big card or two in it. although i probably could drop it to 1 but thatd make it more difficult to draw it.

I disagree, most modern decks run 2 to 4 cards at most over a 4 cmc. Many don't run any over 4 at all and most can win on turn 3 or 4.
