nothings fair in war lol and since vaan is my brother...he gonna die lol
i hate playing against vaans bioshift deck but a fast enough deck like my goblin burn or my elf overrun deck occasionally beat it. of course vaan occasionally uses my ideas lol....but then if its a good one....why not?
Slow but so much fun to play
its one possibility to make some beastly creatures but its just one combo of many. i can understand not wanting to change a deck tho. ive got a lot of decks that ive had since when vaan and i originally started to play magic that are totally beginners decks lol. im still a noob. if we'd kept playing we'd have been playing over 13 years now.
Considering that i built my first decks 13 or so years ago and then didnt play much id say im definitely learning. ost of my posted decks that are under $50 are my noob decks. things that i thought would be cool way back when. now i have to learn to pay more atention to stratedgy and the tactics of the game. maybe someday i might even make a standard deck.
make that 4 desecration demon was also your idea
uh no...you added 3 cards to it. and arguably then it could go either way on the heroes downfall. and i decided to use 4 of each of those cards.
One card to look at that i have in my current deck (and thanks to this deck of yours i'll be making an entirely new one) is vengeful dead with the infest card itd kill off a good portion of life for your opponent. ive also been thinking about death pit offering since you dont have to lose a zombie in combat to have that ability work.
To start I plan to put in 3 more reaping the graves and maybe that card that kills creatures or plainswalker. the biggest part is that i need to change several of the creatures. 1 more cruel revival wouldnt hurt either. I am debating on keeping the avatar of woe in it and the gorgon but i like the abilities they have especially since this deck works off of the graveyard. The sideboard are a bunch of cards that i dont have right now but im thinking on.
I'd like to take out severed legion, fallen angel, and dusk imp but i dont have anything to replace them with. preferably something with flying or a really nie ability like death touch maybe?
I carried a saw for about 15 months and never heard that phrase but i did love it. i was also army 1-94 cav b trp out of MN.
The main thing about this deck is its runs off of 5 colors so getting the lands in is very important especially for reducing costs or increasing effects. The one question ive got now is about how desolation giant really works. "When desolation giant comes into play, destroy all other creatures you control. If the kicker cost was paid, destroy all other creatures instead." I read this as before you pay the kicker cost you lose all your creatures if you pay the kicker its destroy all other creatures instead meaning your opponents creatures. ive been told by some that it still destroys my creatures i disagree with that since it says instead.
its a lot to read through so if this has been mentioned...but i think a cancel or would probably be better than the current counter that you have in the deck
think i have thoat card thats a twin legend right?
http://www.mtgvault.com/variable/decks/elf-deck/ thats my first elf deck that i build over 10 years ago when i first started playing lol
Id put in another nissa's chosen and then put in 2 Nissa Revane plainswalker but thatd increase the cost above a started deck. i really like the thornweald archers i might add them to mine. but you may want to look at jagged scar archers and heedless one. viridian shaman might be better off in your sideboard although i took mine out completely in one of my elf decks. wildheart invoker is a bit spendy mana wise. since your running svereal 1/1 creatures look into pendelhaven elder.http://www.mtgvault.com/variable/decks/elves-overrun/for my sideboard dont bother worrying about them those are just cards im looking into.
Thank you. i had some help. A friend of mine knows deck building im pretty sure hes got a lot of cards memorized for red and black. once he saw what i had. he basically said you need newer cards and thats what i got. with some of my old cards to stick with how i wanted the deck originally
the new deck that im working on with this deck as the base for it i am planning to have 4 wall of fire in it. im also planning on using galvanoth, goblin arsonist, and vexing devil. i'll be dropping to 4 instants fissure, electrostatic bolt, incinerate, and lightening bolt. for the sorcery's i'll be keeping the jokulhaups and wake of destruction but i'll be replacing the others with banefire and arc blade. then koth of the hammer and chandra ablaze for plainswalkers
the person that technically created this deck used one of my decks as a base to upgrade the deck for me. it started as a basic land destruction deck and my friend changed it to what you see now keeping several of the cards that i had in the previous build.Other cards were used as upgrades of the older cards that id had. some of the cards are completely new like the planewalkers, the non-wall creatures (i had walls in the previous build) Arc blade and Banefire are upgrades to the last build the other sorcery's were kept in. I had no mana production cards in the previous build.
