Started out as a template in Duel of the Planeswalkers with key cards Act of Treason and Bloodflow Connoisseur, then I searched around for similar control and sacrifice decks to create this on a budget. It's very strong against powerful creatures and there are lots of combinations to make. It's not nearly perfect but it can turn around a game in a couple turns. Also effective against indestructible since the sacrifice mechanic does not count as damage. If the opponent has hexproof, you can add in the Glaring Spotlight.
Obviously the main mechanic is to take control of opponent's creature, have them attack then sacrifice to boost your own ranks. With the Scavenger Drake or Rockslide Elemental, you can easily gain 3 counters per turn. It's not long before you have some very strong creatures. The Carrion Feeder and Viscera Seer are very useful in that they can sacrifice at no cost and at any moment.Skullclamp fits perfectly in here to accelerate card draw, can be equipped on targets to be sacrificed or own tokens in a cost efficient way.Agent of the Fates is good for defence and is meant to take advantage of Mardu Runemark to trigger it's capacity.
