I don't know about cheaper... A Magus and a Staff cost 4 total instead of 5. And the Staff lets me do all sorts of other stuff too, like draw cards and tap my opponent's creatures before they can attack. That is one way to do it though. I considered Chameleon Colossus, but putting too much power into one creature leaves you vulnerable. I like to focus more on spewing out tons of tokens. Then I'm weak to Fallouts and stuff, but I feel like it's a little harder to answer to.

Oh, I forgot to mention that this is an Extended deck. Also, I did this in a hurry and forgot that I have Browbeats in there. (I'll edit it now.) Between those and the Wheel of Fates there's a decent chance of replenishing my ammo, but the dry-up factor is definitely an issue with this and any burn deck. It's also true that Grapeshot is sometimes a dead draw, but they usually serve their purpose well enough, and they're worth having for the Wheels. Ball lightning doesn't really work for me for some reason. I think the only creatures I'm interested in are turn 1 and 2 ones. Three isn't much to pay, but by then they've probably got something to chump a decent portion of the damage. I dunno, I might try it again. Thanks for the input. :)
I've tried an assortment of smaller creatures but they always end up getting in the way. Early attacks usually aren't anything I can't handle later on, but if the deck has a weakness that's definitely it. Thanks for the comment! :)
Nobody's a little mad that this guy created a deck to ask a question instead of using one of the billions of Magic forums, including the one for THIS SITE? I hope you at least delete it soon...
It's true it doesn't account much for creature hate, but if you don't have any you're pretty much boned. I've played it, and it's always those damn equipments that getcha. Altogether a very powerful deck.
