most 60 card decks wont be running that stuff and as far as the creatures go I think as soon as emrak swings annihilator 6 kicks in and unlikely to be any blockers

id suggest sublime archangel but its not budget I think they are about $7.50 a piece I would probably drop blaze commando for it.
I would use sigiled paladin over aven squire because it has 1st strike and that makes it very nasty early game with exalted
