I like the stories. ive been working on reading them all. I am reading planeshift now from the invasion block. I love all of the stories with urza and dominaria. I hope they do the stories justice with 2 2 set blocks per year.

I think dropping the core set will allow the other sets to be better and we wont get a lot of the same reprints. I have enough sengir vampires lol I don't need more.

I do agree that magic has been and always will be an expensive game, hobby, collection cheaper decks can win sometimes but the expensive cards are usually expensive for a good reason I don't play in tournament I just play casual and I still spend $200 or more every month on magic

you need more land atleast 21 and Elspeth, sun's champion would be nice here

aqueous form might be better then curiosity

for $6 this looks nasty you could swap the goblin for typhoid rats or pharika's chosen

once you drop the archetype you don't need as much ramp so id drop the mystic for sure u could replace it with venomous sliver so all your slivers could mana ramp and have death touch

hornet's nest is a nice standard card for this

for modern id use thornbite staff and vampire nighthawk

if you are not trying to keep this standard viridian longbow would be really fun with all of the deathtouch

but its 4 to cast and to easy for your opponent to steal

that's a lot of mana ramp when you only have 2 high mana cards maybe drop a few ramp guys for soulmender
