In my opinion, to efficiently play grixis control you need to find the perfect balance between counter magic and spot removal, which I feel like I've done here. The sideboard transforms the deck into a form of a rakdos devotion. Last FNM I went 4-1 with this list and I was pleasantly surprised. I dropped the first match because I kept a 2 watery grave, Anger of the Gods in hand and could not find red source. Other than that I had surprisingly good pulls. Have fun, any criticism/suggestions are always welcome.Stay classy, world.
The best first hand would be swamp and thoughtseize, but seeing that is relatively unlikely, you play a basic control motif through counterflux (the best counterspell in the deck) and your other counters and spot removals until you hit aetherling. Granted, I don't have sphinx's rev in my colors, so it would probably take longer than your typical esper or azorius.

I haven't play tested this exact list but I've tested one very similar. It's surprisingly not as bad as you would think.
